I purchased a Tudor Black Bay 58 Burgundy on a 5-link bracelet from Scott (Tudor/watch specialist) on 4/29/25–a mere few weeks after it’s release at Watches and Wonders which was incredible. Just yesterday I was able to purchase a Rolex Submariner 126613LN from Ahmed (Rolex Sales Specialist) with support from David (Rolex Customer Experience Liason), which is a difficult thing to come by considering Rolex’s current supply/demand situation. All were extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what they do, communicated well (and still do) and genuinely cared about a watch enthusiast like myself. The front staff and supporting employees were professional and kind as well. I can’t recommend Tiny Jewel Box enough—if you’re looking for an authorized dealer to really build a relationship with, I personally wouldn’t look anywhere else. Thank you to the team; you’ve got a loyal customer.β

Working with Sydney was exactly what we needed, she was patient and made us feel very welcome and were incredibly happy with the ring! She helped us design a unique ring incorporating design elements and actual diamonds from a family ring. Couldn’t recommend MSD more!β
βFriendly and well run family business. I came by with a pair of diamond stud earrings and a small diamond pendant necklace, and a basic idea of what I was envisioning for an expanded necklace. Miriam did a great job with the jewelry design and I was thrilled with the end product. Afram worked efficiently and had the piece done less than a month after I requested it and well in advance of the anniversary I needed it for!β

Dan has created such a beautiful, light-filled space that's equipped with pretty much any tool or equipment you might need to bring any idea to life. The classes themselves are fantastic - you'll learn by doing, but also by watching an expert demonstrate for you, and getting as much help as you may need throughout. It's a good balance: you'll build your skill set and learn the practicalities of metalsmithing, but also learn to understand your own creative vision, which you can work on during open studio hours. The vibe is really chill (Dan plays great music!), all the teachers are kind and helpful and supportive, your fellow students are all interesting and fun, and overall this is the kind of space where you feel like you're able to make mistakes and still learn and grow from them. If you've ever wanted to learn the true craft of metalsmithing to make fine jewelry, this is the place to do it.β

art, jewelry and handcrafted items from various Latin countries. The jewelry on display is really eye-catching and unique. ArtTepuy has so many lovely earrings and bracelets along with colorful cards and decorative items.
I had a chance to meet and chat with the owner, Mariela, who is wonderful and so passionate about showcasing a broad range of art and handmade items from Latin American countries.
It was a joy to explore the boutique, which is so colorful and filled with some very special pieces that would make great gifts.
Itβs Hispanic Heritage month, so an especially perfect time to support a small business like ArtTepuy.
Parking is easy in that there is a parking garage under La Cosecha where you can park for free for 3hrs.β

βHappened upon this sweet little spot when strolling through Capitol Hill yesterday. The shop is above a beautiful stationary and card store with equally lovely items. Christine, the owner, is French and listening to her lovely lilt while conversing with another French speaking patron drew me up the stairs immediately. Her space is filled with unique gifts she merchandises from Paris, as well as other fair trade items that support women working in remote locations across the globe. I picked up a beautiful scarf for my momma, as I try to find one for her whenever I'm traveling. Quaint and reasonably priced, there's a little something for everyone, but truly the best part of all is Christine. She's warm and friendly and we immediately fell into a lengthy conversation that made my whole day. If you ever wanted an immediate French bestie, this is the place to find her. βHeather and another woman (can’t remember her name but he was tall with curly hair!!) were fantastic at helping me. I walked in thinking i was going to get an anklet but i left with a custom order ring, two single earrings, and a tennis bracelet. These two women made me feel exceptionally welcome and it honestly felt like i was just chatting with girlfriends. I had a blast with them and am obsessed with my pieces. Typically, i get allergic reactions to anything less than 18k in my ears, but these earrings haven’t caused me any issues! Also, the tennis bracelet DOES NOT FLIP! What a win. Will be purchasing more from catbird in the future.β

βI went in hoping to find a few outfits for a wedding in India. They were so helpful with selecting options that fit the theme for each day (the bride provided an outfit guide for each event) for me and my partner. They even helped us find an outfit for my partner that matched a set I purchased online. They also gave us helpful advice for our trip while my blouse was hemmed. When the set I bought online arrived and was a little too large I went back in to get it hemmed. Instead of selling me a service I didnβt need she taught me how to fix the blouse with safety pins! I really appreciated the upfront pricing, easy communication, and honesty over upselling! Overall, I had a great experience, I would come back in for a future event and recommend this store to a friend!β
