“I don’t usually ever give reviews, but Lamont Cleaners went above and beyond for my service. I recently tore my ACL, was on crutches, and needed my linen pants altered for a wedding. They were very accommodating for my ADA restrictions, made me very comfortable during my fitting, and it was done within 4 days. Cost was under $50 as well. By FAR the best in Mt. Pleasant and will only be going to them for any alterations or dry cleaning from here on.”
“I guess quite decent place to try. They told me they used expensive subscriptions for the whole cleaning systems. Which is better for our/customer’s health because they use the solvent human food grade oils and everything so no need to afraid of cancer at least from dry cleaning. They explained how much they charge what is the cost. Overall happy with their service! Very knowledgeable and honest.”

“We’ve been going here for years, and at this point they know us by name — no ticket, no fumbling for a phone number, just a hello and our order already coming off the rack. The work is consistently excellent: everything comes back clean, pressed properly, and on time, and when we’ve had a tricky stain or a rush job they’ve handled it without making it a production.
What surprised me most is that our kids actually ask to come along. That says something about how the staff treat people. “Just got back seven perfectly tailored dresses and I cannot thank you enough! They finished the alterations quickly and all of them now fit like a glove, which is incredible considering many had boning and required some serious tailoring skills. I can’t even tell most have been altered if not for the fact that they just dropped 3 dress sizes. They did such a wonderful job, cannot wait to return with the rest of my closet soon!”

Like Oluo, who is disliked by customers, Petra who, unlike Oluo, is liked by customers, Erd who is an expert in detergent and Ghunter who helps Erd with the washing machines then there is Eren, who has just taken over and is cleaning the floor often being scolded by Levi, Erwin, who often does "advertising" because he needs people in the army who dedicate their hearts and finally Hanji, who scares Oluo, Petra, Erd and Ghunter”

I’ve brought in clothes I was almost embarrassed to hand over — stuff I thought was way too far gone — and they came back looking brand new. Like, how?! And on top of that, my order has been ready early every single time. Not once have I had to wait, let alone follow up.

“They cleaned and ironed/pressed 5 of my items within the same day. The level of cleaning was very good (and I am picky). I cannot really say if they are pricey or not because it is the first time that I resort to dry cleaning services in the US - what is for sure is that it is (much) more expensive than in my hometown in Italy ;)”
“We’ve been using Besson’s exclusively since Feb 2022 and are continually amazed by their service. We do pickup and delivery. I’ve never been to the store. We send them all sorts of unusual items that we have tried and failed to clean by ourselves: stained and torn Carhartt work pants, fuzzy children’s coats badly matted with dirt and dry leaves, a 15 year-old white biking shirt so badly stained it looked grey. They always come back looking like new and the prices are well below what I would pay at dry cleaners in my neighborhood. They also do great with typical dry-clean only items like suits and dresses.
One tip for new customers: just trust them. Not everyone there speaks fluent English so communications can sometimes be difficult, but we’ve found that we can just trust them to do quality work and charge a fair price so not much communication is really needed.
On the handful of times there was a stain they couldn’t get out or an item they couldn’t repair, they let us know with a note or a call. I always think to myself “If Besson’s can’t clean it, no one can.””

“Inside is clean and prices are reasonable I dried two sets of sheets and two mattresses covers fit $1.50. If you go try to part in the back, the front has what you would expect to find in the cut: people hanging around with nothing to do and no place to go. Also I would try to go during the daytime.”

“We use this place for the bulk of our dry cleaning and basic tailoring and have been very happy with it. Our dry cleaning has always been very well done — stains we thought were permanent disappeared, and they have good attention to detail. In addition basic hemming and seam repair, she's also made an heirloom quilt look like new. As some of the more negative reviews here have suggested, this probably isn't the best place to go for something urgent or if you are going to be fussy (yes, one time they just cleaned a shirt but forgot to repair a seam even though they charged me - we took it back and they fixed it - nbd. Or a couple of times I just wanted something sewn, I wasn't paying attention and they also charged me for dry cleaning - it was an extra $7 - whatever). This is still a very good neighborhood family-run business worth supporting.”

“Good laundromat, nice and easy! Only issue is it seems to close earlier than what it says online at times. Went on a Sunday at 2:30 and they were closing for the day - Google says 4:00. Go early and you will be good!”
