Safeway, a neighborhood grocery store located at 1701 Corcoran St NW, Washington, DC, offers a convenient and friendly shopping experience. The store boasts a wide selection of groceries, including a bakery, deli, and fresh produce. Customers can enjoy customizable cakes, cupcakes, and party trays from the bakery, as well as a variety of meat and seafood options from the butchers block. The produce department is stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. For added convenience, Safeway provides Order Ahead and Grocery Delivery services. While the store is generally good, some customers have noted long lines and a limited variety of food options. The quality and pricing of certain items, such as the roast beef sandwich, have also been criticized. However, other customers have praised the store's small and cozy atmosphere, as well as the quality of the fruit salad bowl. Overall, Safeway offers a decent grocery experience, but there is room for improvement in terms of staffing, pricing, and selection.
Good surper, with quite an assortment. Somewhat narrow hallways.

A neighborhood store. Not much selection for fruits and vegetables. No fresh bread

The store is small, nonetheless, Albertsons removed some food items to make room for beer and wine when Cairo Liquors is just across the street! No bakery. No pharmacy. Fruits and vegetables look beat up. However, the Staff tries hard to provide pleasant customer service.
