“Each Peach is such a cute find. Definitely pricey, but a great spot for good quality produce, dairy, and extra things such as olive oil, spices, specialty chocolates, coffee, etc. Staff is also super friendly and helpful!”

“I had an excellent customer service experience with Terron. After waiting in a long line, he greeted me with a smile and was overall very pleasant. Because of this, I felt comfortable enough to ask him about an item which was not stocked on the shelf and which was the primary reason for my visit. He told me he knows it is in stock and if I would like for him to grab it for me. Needless to say, I was taken aback by this above and beyond offer and quickly agreed only if it would not create trouble for him. He finished ringing up my items, disappeared for all of 30 seconds and was back with options of the requested item for me to choose from. The customer behind me wanted the item, too, and was happy to get one as well.

Hire more people like Terron. He is exemplary!”

“Seekie is the owner of this market and she is always so happy when people come in to shop. The store is well stocked and clean. It is easy and convenient for the neighborhood.

Went in to grab a couple of ice cream pints - there was a great selection!”

“Everything you need. There wasn't any organic produce, but the selection is sufficient for most needs. Most common cuts of beef are available but they are very thin cuts. No grass fed options available.”

“The staff and owners are friendly, very understanding, helpful and truly a people person. They keep a great stock of various American, and a few Asian delights to try. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Kim, your brother and the staff for providing such a hospitable experience every time I am there along with others who walk through your door.”

“My favorite supermarket, I haven't bought anywhere else, I've been here for 5 years and there is always there, I do my errand, there's everything.”

“I 'very been going there since 2004,same store staff mostly the same, good guys, but this is a neighborhood landmark in the sense that, you are likely to run into a neighbor, friend, Peron you haven't seen in a while... OK so most neighborhood stores, who can only stay in comparison with the Big Stores, when the people in the neighborhood can't get to the store or don't feel like all the people on the grocery stores, but now of our stores are fair on some thins and outrages with others... Should out to the staff at Northeast market. A. K. A. "24 hour store" Tell them Redd's sent you... Everyone knows as that there!!! Shout out to Trinidad/Ivy City...”

“This store has everything and prices are pretty decent. Very good to the neighborhood especially being that many may not own a vehicle and most of the residents of this community are of retirement age or a little younger. Very convenient and clean.”

“Clean, always packed with food. Breakfast frozen items seem to sell out fast!! Lines can be long at times, seems only one person wants to work the register, when there are like 4. Always fast to get in and get out. Security guard on premise.”

“This place is decent. They have a small selecting of micro brews like Two Hearted and whatnot. Decent liqour selection too. The employees (or maybe owners?) are very friendly.”

“I love this store, it's close to my house and it has everything I need, the customer service is awesome. Very friendly place. Has all products they sell in stock to, unlike many places in DC.”

“My go-to store for all the essentials—eggs, popsicles, wine, beer, nachos, coffee, you name it. It can be a bit pricey, but the location is unbeatable, and it's a lifesaver when you need something quick without having to trek to Giant, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's. The staff is always friendly, and they're open almost all day.”

“This was my first time at this Aldi location on South Dakota Avenue, NE.Entering the store was clean, no odors or obnoxious smells. The isle are wide and spacious. The fruits and vegetables looked appealing. They have bottled water, paper products, juices, cereals, meats, breads, ice creams, and home decor for the holidays. What I did not find was no smoked meats for seasoning my greens, beans, and cabbage. I will ask the next time I go if they carry these items. I did not find liver or chicken livers. I did find most of their prices are cheaper than Lidl. There was only one cashier working after 6:00 pm. But he was fast and kept the line moving. I will definitely be going back.”

“My go-to local spot for any product from the Middle East or Islamic world. Fair prices (a slightly upcharge for the convenience of going to AdMo and not NoVA), friendly owners, and an ever-changing selection of delectable spices and sauces. Best spot for fresh flatbread too.”

“I called today asking for yeast. They don’t have any for sale but willing to give what they have personally. WOW AMAZING!I didn’t go because they are 25 minutes away but customer service is Wow just to rescue my baking. THANK YOU MADAM!”

“I am 86 years old and have been grocery shopping for several decades. The M Street store is the major league of supermarkets. It is spotlessly clean, always well stocked and never out of specials. More importantly, the staff -- from the manager to the shelf stockers -- is friendly, personable and always volunteering to help, from locating my aisles to helping load my car. I can't recall a better, well-managed, helpful, friendly and professional staff. A bunch of positive adjectives in this review but every one is earned.”

“Jarrett, we appreciate you.
I remember when we first met you, you were on the fruits and vegetables section. You always said hello and answered questions about products.
We are happy to have seen you progress to a manager position for years now, as you continue being kind, courteous, and provide an excellent customer service.
It is always nice to say hello to you.
Wishing you succeed professional to the level you wish for”

“This is a Korean owned business that has been in the neighborhood for years. I’ve been going here since I was 4 years old and grew up with “Ma and Pops”. Show them with respect and you’ll be respected. Have a nasty attitude and they will not service you. Yes, there’s a no pet policy at the store. This is a recent change due to a customer lying about their dog service status since their dog tour up merchandise.
If you get caught stealing, you will be locked in the store until cops come. Don’t get caught stealing because you will be shamed by the whole neighborhood.
If they really know you, they might give you something for free if you really need it. They always pay it forward. This is one the last few bodegas in DC frfr, and we have to protect before they retire.”

“The best small store in South East. Fully stocked with non perishable groceries. They also have milk, bread and eggs. Small frozen food section. OTC medicine and spices behind the counter. Pet food and the biggest tequila section you have ever seen.”

“I recently stopped by this store and found it to be a very solid option for weekly grocery shopping. The aisles are spacious and well-organized, which made it easy to navigate through my list without any frustration. I was particularly impressed with the fresh produce section—everything looked high-quality and well-stocked. It is a reliable, straightforward place that gets the job done efficiently, and I appreciated the quick checkout experience even during a busier time of day.”

“I came in to request help finding a receipt that was misplaced for expensing and Patricia was super helpful in locating it. She saved my expensing report! Great store with excellent floral selection as well.”

“This review is purely for Giant pick up. I use my bicycle to run most of my errands, and because of the idiotic no bags inside policy, I solely use giant for pick up orders since moving to the neighborhood a couple months ago. Claire has done most of my shopping for pick up orders and does an excellent job. The workers are always timely and friendly. Produce has been fresh and I don't get any banged up or expired products here. I've done giant pick up at the H St NE and Brentwood stores as well, and this location is the best and most consistent service out of the three. Thanks Claire! My only complaint is that giant should make it easier to leave reviews on the app since employees rely on these, but they only give you the option to report issues, not positive feedback, online.”
