Schneider's of Capitol Hill is an upscale liquor store and an institution in the community, supplying fine wine, spirits, and craft beer. While a smaller place, it has a hands-down the best selection in the DMV, with a great selection of items. The staff is really friendly and eager to help, offering exceptional warmth and expertise. They take time to ask about tastes and price range, walking around to recommend bottles and explain details, making it a learning experience. Customers always leave with an amazing bottle at a reasonable price. They offer delivery in Washington DC, can ship to many states, and help with events or pairing wines. They also host tastings.
