“This is family owned since its inception in 1973. It has been servicing the local neighborhood and helping people repair whatever needs to be fixed over the past 40 years. The 30,000 square foot "Store" offers everything expected of a hardware store and more. This is like a hometown hardware store, with excellent customer service and satisfaction. The "Shore" friendly staff averages 20 years in tenure, their knowledge makes buying "Hard" ware - EASY! This was my first visit here with my local friend to purchase some hardware and screws for building a vinyl fence around his newly installed swimming pool. The store is located on the border of Maryland and Delaware. The rear part of the store is located in Maryland. The cash register is located on the Delaware front side of the store so customers are not charged with any Maryland sales tax. Delaware does not have a state sales tax. I highly recommend this store because of their customer service, availability of various hardware items and not having to pay any Maryland state sales tax.”
“Frank was super nice and very helpful! Probably the sweetest and most approachable man in a hardware store I've ever encountered. As a young woman, I'm always intimidated to go into hardware stores by myself. I didn't feel that way here, and the woman at the front desk (I didn't catch her name) was also so sweet! “Built a dozen of poultry houses with Bunting & Bertrand and had a few issues 2 years later after warranty ran out. Dale Jr. (Buddy) still sent his crew to the farm to repair them at no cost. Quality and integrity this man has them all and is highly recommended! Definitely keep coming back!
Note: I have built almost 100 (one hundred poultry houses in the past 20 years on the shore throughout other poultry farm builders. However, no one would have this kind of service once the final check is cut and paid in full.

“Great service and they always have my lamp oil in stock. Walked in for lamp oil, walked out with lamp oil and some new yard equipment! The folks are super helpful and knowledgeable. Great small town shop in a town that seems to really be hitting a growth spurt! If you're new to the area, these folks are super helpful with any project you may be working on, avoid the cruddy service at the big box stores and come chat with the folks here.”

“Valerie was the lone waitress working hard to make 6 tables of hungry guests happy. Kitchen must have been short staffed also. Lone bartender was also racing to keep up with bar and restaurant requests. But OMG! The food we had was so good. The crabby cakes were nothing but crab the pirogies were dripping in such a delicious shrimp sauce. I can't help but say it was well worth the wait.”
“Luke in the blinds/drapery department was very helpful. I needed to replace a window blind on July 3rd before guests arrived. Luke used the Levelor custom cutting machine to trim the blind for a perfect fit. Saved the day ?”

Quite often they feature sales or specials which are a bonus paired with the great customer services I always receive.I don't mind paying a few cents more when a place if staffed with adequate and friendly people.”
