“I only lived in one apartment in one building, by myself, for one year.
Pros: walkable neighborhood, easy parking, close access to supermarket, fire department, local library, park with walking trails, and post office. 10 minute drive to large chain stores and good coffee and great restaurants. Right off the 495 ramp, easy access to Philadelphia International Airport, and 30 minutes to downtown Philadelphia without a traffic jam. Office staff promptly respond to serious issues. Unfortunately someone did move in after me and brought roaches with them; the issue was taken seriously immediately and fully resolved as were other issues (e.g. noise complaints). I had clear communication with the office on all my move-in, obtaining keys process and the move out process was also clearly communicated, key return was no problem, and I receieved a refund check for my security deposit with no issues. I also had no issues with my packages being delivered in terms of no issues with them being stolen, though I understand it did happen in other locations on the property.
Cons: the apartment turnover is too quick and sloppy. They even left one of my windows unhinged and I didn't notice for weeks, which was kind of dangerous as a single woman living alone at street level. The fridge freezer and washing machine had serious mold issues; had to wait weeks for parts to be replaced. Food disposal wasn't working properly and cabinet doors had loose hinges. The office and maintenance teams are dedicated, but they are also small for a property of this size. Anything that is not an emergency can take up to a month to be resolved and questions emailed that are not an emergency never get answered. If there is serious snow clean up needed, they rely on a vendor and that may or may not go quickly depending on where you live in the property (e.g. the sidewalks around the building where the leasing office is located are cleared up to a week before the sidewalks outside other apartment buildings).
My biggest concern living here was Claymont does not have its own police force. I once heard a very loud domestic dispute right outside my apartment in the middle of the night (involving a child) and when I called the Wilmington police the man on the phone showed almost no concern, asked me whether the people were white, Hispanic or Black even though I had already explained I was inside my apartment hearing something happening outside, and in the end the police never came and never followed up with me.
Second was increasingly seeing dog feces around the property. When I first moved in I never saw it, but as the year went by I saw it more and more. During heavy snow it was almost everywhere. All this said, I would live here again. The biggest pro for me is the buildings are new (less than 10 years old), the space in the units is designed smartly, and the ceilings are high. The apartments are worth the rent.”
“My friend and I toured Arrive with Isaiah back in March. He was absolutely wonderful, professional, & very detail oriented. Definitely recommend booking your apartment tour with him, you’ll have all your questions answered. Couldn’t recommend him more!”
“Couldn’t have been more pleased with this community! Sarah, Tim, and Anthony are so helpful and down to earth. They are always so warm and welcoming to my family when they come to visit— and are accommodating to my family/visitors with mobility issues. I love that the team is small and their time/attention isn’t split between multiple properties. Very sad to be leaving, but if it wasn’t for work I’d stay for as long as I could!”
“Nicole was very welcoming & Happy to help us on our tour of the apartment complex! It was very peaceful & quiet. She explained everything to us Professionally & Exciting. Glad we had the opportunity to meet with her!”
“We love Media Station Apartments! We stayed there for 3 years and absolutely loved the location, space, and the level of service that was provided to maintain the shared spaces, parking lots, and whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend!”
“My overall experience with applying for the apartment and touring the facility was truly amazing! Rebecca was very helpful , communicative and helpful with the process! So excited for this journey! Thanks Rebecca for being patient and answering every question I had.”
“I have never lived in an apartment complex where it's been so quiet! The maintenance of the apartment is very professionally maintained. The manager is responsive to any communication. The people who live here are engaging and respectful to each other and if feels like a community. Having and inside post office box is convenient as it's across from the entrance. The key fob to enter ensures privacy. I've been here almost 10 years and have no complaints.”
“The leasing agents and maintenance are wonderful and very on top of everything. Requests get handled promptly and they truly do care. The complex is well taken care of and the neighbors are super friendly.
The apartment itself is great and I am very happy here!”
“They’ve helped with everything when I needed it. The staff makes you feel like family. I just moved out here from Oklahoma and it’s been a really nice place.”
“Summit Chase Apartments will truly be missed.
My family and I downsized from a 3-bedroom to a 2-bedroom at Summit Chase in November 2020, and we happily called it home for nearly 7 years until our recent move in August 2025. Our experience has been nothing short of excellent, thanks to the caring and competent staff who consistently go above and beyond for residents.
Mrs. Willan, the property manager, has always prioritized the safety, security, and well-being of the community. From the moment she began managing the property, she demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and outstanding customer service. Service requests—especially urgent ones—were always addressed quickly and thoroughly.
She also takes security seriously, monitoring the premises diligently and communicating important reminders to residents with respect and clarity. I especially appreciate how she , Mr. Will (on the maintenance team ) and other long term tenants showed compassion toward my mother, offering assistance when they noticed her struggling with stairs and even carrying her shopping bags to the door. That level of care is rare and truly made us feel at home.
Summit Chase has been a wonderful place to live, and we are grateful for the dedication and kindness of the entire staff.”

“We have been at the Residences at Justison Landing for 6 months. Everything has been fine, and we recently extended our lease. The primary reason for the 5 star rating is the presence of Dustin Holler. He is extraordinarily hard working, attentive, supportive, kind, and does everything possible to help the residents. He has answered questions, resolved concerns, and provided immediate help to us on numerous occasions. Just today, he dropped everything to get us back in to our place when we left our keys behind. There are very few people in today's world who are as dedicated, caring, and effective as Dustin.”
“I always visit 2 family members at this location. Great affordable housing for residents with disabilities, retired residents, friendly staff, management, maintenance and local hospital nurses.”

“After living in Lexington Apartments under Media Real Estate management for nearly 10 years, I can confidently say this property provides an excellent living experience.
The entire complex is well-maintained, and any time I needed assistance, the management team was responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. To stay in one place for a decade speaks volumes about the quality of life, comfort, and service provided by the company.
I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to call home. If any friends were looking in the area, this is the first company I would point them to!”

“I moved in a couple of weeks ago and I love it so far! Robin from the office helped me with my move in and was so quick with communication, very nice, and knowledgeable! They respond quickly to maintenance requests as well. Milton is very nice and efficient!”
“The staff is nice, but the tenants leave trash everywhere. There is a cleaning service for the hallways, but it's hard for them to keep up. I emailed the office twice to complain about my downstairs neighbor smoking weed, but never received a response. I will say that the maintenance staff—especially Superintendent Alex—and the property manager are very professional and polite, though.”
