Pet Grooming

Bark Avenue Dog Day Camp Inc
100 Naamans Rd #2A, ClaymontBeen taking our pups here since 2009 and we all love it! Our pups always come home exhausted from their play! The staff evaluate the dogs to ensure a good fit and friendly atmosphere. They are so sweet and treat our pups like family - so caring and loving. They also offer boarding and grooming services and we recommend those as well. The hours are great and pricing very reasonable. They've been super flexible when we've had a last minute ask for a weekend boarding. We're so lucky and appreciative to have found this gem years ago. Love, C, V, and past pups: Jules, Lady, Angel.

Plush by Sarah Drouin
950 Ridge Rd Suite D-18, ClaymontAmazing place all around. From the people, to the shop itself. Sarah and Ramiel are amazing with the dogs. My dog has such a connection with them. Begs to go…doesn’t want to leave… then sleeps the remainder of the night from their mental stimulation. I can’t say enough about this place. They are more than just dog groomers.

Ginger's Pet Cuttery
2600 Philadelphia Pike # A, ClaymontWe love Debbie and the excellent job she does in grooming our pups. We have a King Charles and we like to keep his hair short, she has developed quite a bond with him and he enjoys going to her. The other dog just goes for a bath and nails and she is always super excited when we drop off. The place is always very clean and the rates are very affordable!

Pet Sitting & Training

Behavior and Dog Training LLC
221 W Ridge Rd, ClaymontI have a 17 month old Rough Collie and 2 Shetland Sheepdogs. I could not get my Collie Bowie, to walk on a leash. He refused to step onto the sidewalk, get into the car or even leave the property. Every time I would take him out, he’d slip out of his collar and run back to the front door. I’ve tried using a collar, a harness and 2 leashes. He still managed to escape and run back to the house. I’ve owned dogs for my entire life but I was at a loss. I have been so stressed out about this situation. A neighbor of mine told me about Behavior and Dog Training LLC. I decided to call. I didn’t have very high expectations that anyone could help me with Bowie. As soon as I spoke with Perry, I felt at ease. I set up an appointment. That first visit, Bowie was walking on a leash. He has continued to walk like a gentleman every day since. The second visit, we worked on Bowie’s and my confidence in new situations. Today, we went to the park to work with Bowie. Deciding to work with Behavior and Dog Training LLC has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. My home is peaceful, I enjoy walking my dogs and I am excited about all the new skills that I continue to learn while working with Perry.

Uncle Johns BBQ Stand
2509 Philadelphia Pike, ClaymontUncle John’s a definitely one of the best BBQ places in the area. Huge variety of foods. Great indoor and outdoor space and live music regularly. Extremely inclusive atmosphere. Uncle John is constantly working hard on making more and more food, it’s very evident and he can be seen out front with the grill/smoker often. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
