I anticipated that bringing my two dogs at the same time would be tedious and potentially challenging but NO! I had such a pleasant experience! The gentleman that assisted me was so helpful and patient. Prices are absolutely great. You cannot go wrong with this place. I most certainly see myself becoming a regular here. I only regret not coming here sooner and struggling in my home this long.

30B Trolley Square, WilmingtonI cannot recommend Silly Dogs Grooming enough. They are hands-down the BEST grooming experience we’ve had for our dogs — and we have 2–3 dogs at a time, including a senior dog who gets very anxious and afraid of loud noises. They are always so patient, gentle, and genuinely caring with her, which means everything to us.
The woman who works there is incredibly kind and compassionate. She even expressed her condolences for both our dog Buddy and my brother, which was such a thoughtful gesture during a difficult time. That level of empathy is so rare these days.
We also had a little miscommunication where my mom and I thought we could bring our dog anytime that day, but the appointment was actually scheduled sharply for noon. Even with the confusion, they handled everything with so much grace and understanding instead of making us feel bad or stressed.
On top of that, they helped put on non-slip toe grips for my dog — something I couldn’t even manage to do myself — and they didn’t charge us extra for it. They truly go above and beyond.
The care, patience, and kindness at Silly Dogs are unmatched. SO much better than places like Petco where your pets just feel like another number. You can tell the people here genuinely love animals and care about the families attached to them too.

When we boarded our dogs while on an overseas trip and one became critically ill they provided several updates a day on her condition. Melissa went so far as buying chicken and preparing for our girl to see if she would eat. they may be a little pricey for emergency care but you get what you pay for. We will keep coming back!

3000 W 2nd St, WilmingtonI've been bringing my boy, Finnegan, to Dog Dazy since he was just 6 months old. What started as a way to socialize him quickly turned into a regular routine He loved it so much, I began bringing him 2–3 times a week.
It’s now been nearly two years, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about Michelle and her amazing team. They clearly care deeply for the dogs in their care, and it shows. They even celebrate each dog’s birthday and make holidays extra special, it really feels like a big, happy family.
Michelle has even sent me a few photos of Finnegan enjoying playtime with his doggie friends. It’s clear from those snapshots and from his happy, tired face when he gets home that he’s having a blast.
He's so excited each morning when he hears he’s going to daycare. The moment we pull into the parking lot, he’s practically dragging me from the car to the front door. Knowing how much he loves being there, and how well he's cared for gives me total peace of mind.
I was so lucky to find Dog Dazy. It has truly become a second home for Finnegan, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found a place that treats my boy like one of their own.

The atmosphere was inviting, the vibe perfect. They had a board game social going on in the back as well, which I hear happens once a month
Bartenders were very nice and put up with my hesitation and awkwardness well- I dont go out for drinks much! Absolutely loved the dry cider I had. Something that sets this establishment apart in my experience, is the option for 3 different size pours, depending on the drink. If you love to sample many beers in small cups, this is perfect! And if you want a full size pour, they are all very reasonably priced.
There was so much indoor, and outdoor seating. A pizza shop nearby that was well regarded by my friends. Bringing food in welcome
The dj was awesome, kept the vibes high as the crowd started pouring in around 7. A live DJ is always a nice touch and keeps the energy peak

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard
2222 Silverside Rd, WilmingtonI absolutely love going to Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard. It is truly the best ice cream place around.
First of all, it is very affordable, which makes it easy to stop by often and try different flavors. It is also my personal favorite ice cream spot, and I always look forward to visiting. The location is perfect for us because it is very close and convenient.
The best part for me is that they have a cheesecake custard that is gluten free, which is amazing to find. It tastes incredible and I am always so happy when it is available. Their orange custard is also absolutely delicious and honestly to die for.
Every visit is a great experience and the desserts are always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a sweet treat. Definitely a five star place for me.
