LabCorp is located in the walkable center of Newark and is easy to access. The staff is great, super friendly, efficient, and reassuring, especially for those who are squeamish with needles. Phlebotomists are skilled, even with difficult veins, performing draws quickly and with minimal pain. Making an appointment online is pretty easy, with text and email reminders and a QR code for simple self check-in. The place operates efficiently, typically with little wait, allowing patients to go right at their scheduled time or even slightly earlier. However, some issues are noted. Weekend hours listed can be wrong, which is inconvenient. A broader concern is the difficulty in removing individual tests from a doctor's order due to cost. Patients wish costs were itemized and presented at the time of appointment to make informed choices. Despite this, the front-desk staff are super helpful when dealing with billing issues. Overall, service is reliable and the patient experience is positive, with the recommendation to make an appointment and plan for a morning visit.
This is the second time in the last 6 months that I've had blood drawn for lab work at this location. Both times left me with a huge bruise on my arm. I won't be going back to this location for this service anymore.

Had to get blood work and a drug screening. There is one right across from where I live, but they were still closed 15 minutes after opening time. So, I drove to this location.Staff was super friendly and efficient.
