I visit this one every other week after dinner with friends to fill up with gas because it's significantly cheaper than Pennsylvania, which is a few miles up route 202. Twice in the past year I've witnessed somebody filling duffle bags with energy drinks from the coolers and then running out the door. Notified staff as it was happening both times, but either they don't call the police or the DE State Police have lousy response times... Still feel perfectly safe there though!”

“Royal Farms is a great place to visit for both decent gas and affordable fast food. One of my favorite places to go for a quick bite to pickup while on the road or on my way home from a long day. Their chicken boxes and biscuits are yummy. The meat is well seasoned, moist and hot. And those biscuits are soft, buttery and taste like grandma is in the kitchen. Often there's a line of folks waiting for their order, but you don't mind because you know what you are waiting on is being prepared and it takes time. Perfection takes time.”

Reviews said food can take a bit and to order ahead, so I placed an order for a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese sandwich through Grubhub. Got there 10-15 mins later and the worker said he didn't have my order. After I showed him on Grubhub he was able to find it. He said they didn't have sausage, only turkey bacon or regular bacon. I went with turkey, although I'm not a real bacon fan. Another review mentioned a coffee bar with full selections, but they don't have a coffee bar. In fact, they don't offer coffee at all, which was my biggest disappointment. So I left to get coffee and came back to get my breakfast, wound up being late for work. I will say the place was completely empty on a Tuesday morning, so they must not get many workers looking for breakfast and coffee. I'm still giving a good rating because the worker was incredibly nice and friendly, and the sandwich was actually really good. Really large portion and tasted delicious.”

Doesn't have a deli because local grocery is too nearby and wouldn't turn a good profit with the 7-11 close by, not their fault. Despite that they offer solid grocery and food options, including eggs, milk, dairy, sodas, etc. Kind staff, great hidden gem of a place.”
