“When I first walked in, I thought it was just like a small market. Only after looking for a while did I realize how special the place really is. There premade frozen food is extensive. They have a really nice bakery towards the back. And they have a lot of good. You can’t find anywhere else. I think I was first just surprised because it looked like a regular grocery store. It’s clean and orderly. It’s definitely a great place to go to get what you need for your cooking needs”
“Middletown store is beautiful! Bright wide aisles, lots of stuff on display, great fruits and veggies, great prices. BUT - no self-checkout. So at 3 in the afternoon on Monday, 5 of us stood in line as 1 clerk checked us out. It added an extra 8 minutes to our shopping trip so - 4 stars.”
“I was excited to have my very 1st WEISS experience over the JUNETEENTH 2.0 weekend.
Walking into the establishment was esthetically pleasing from the aroma of fresh seafood, the openness, and absolutely cleanliness of the space.
Although I was a bit confused with having the infamous AMAROSO rolls on one aisle near the seafood opposed to where ALL of the other bread was located.
That store is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
I'll be making the extra miles', about an additional 10-15min drive from home to this location for now on. I was thoroughly pleased with my shopping experience.”

“Came here a few days ago for some pizza dough and was satisfied. They had it frozen and ready to go. No complaints here other than I knocked my friends hat off in the store and he screamed at me and embarrassed me 😂”
“More times than not they have what I need unless it's like a Sunday evening. Only four self-checkouts 2 for card's only 2 for cash only. Their staff is very sweet and kind and helpful. I've had a couple problems with the insta cart/ online shopping pick up order where my groceries were thrown into my trunk so much so I had to take a multiple photos of the blatant disrespect from the workers who brought the groceries out thrown and when I say throne I mean sodas have exploded bakery items for smashed and this isn't that big of a deal but they're usually is at least one order on our food store list that is not available. I don't find that as disgusting as exploding sodas that I have to clean out of my trunk because the groceries were just thrown in there barbarically. It's not every single time and only happened three times but 2 times it was the same person. I will all in all say that food Lion is my go-to grocery store they are the friendliest they helped the most the only problem I have like I said is with the throwing of the groceries from the insta cart online grocery pick-up.”

“This is truly a cultural jewel of a store in Middletown, Delaware. They carry food items, a limited selection of produce, beverages, personal care items, even fabrics, mostly all imported from various African countries. The service was excellent and the clerk was most patient with me as I asked LOTS of questions about various products prior to purchasing. The plantains and imported sodas were enjoyed by my family during our evening meal. Thanks MAM!”
“I have been shopping and getting my prescriptions filled for a couple years. Camille is the best pharmacist I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She has saved me money many times because she takes time to find the best insurance to use when I pay for my prescriptions. Camille also takes time to ask how things are going with me.”
“Pretty good. I'm still getting to know Aldi. I'm new shopping at this franchise. I think it's more of me trying to get in sync with how they stock and what they carry and will definitely come back and change the four-star to a five-star over the next couple visits I'm sure”
“This place goes above and beyond with service. My grandmother always goes every Sunday to get gas. The amazing attendant Daniel is always happy to assist her in pumping her gas and offers excellent conversation. Best gas station in town!”
“Clean store and pleasant staff. Expensive compared to Food Lion. Was not familiar with the way they packaged meats - doesn't say where it comes from...
Pretty large variety in each shopping category - could probably find what you need or something similar.”

DEVON is one the VERY BEST Walmart Associates I have EVER had the pleasure to work with. He took it completely on himself to ask us if we needed help finding an item.

Drive up and Go customer service person was awesome - Justice is ALWAYS so helpful and I appreciate all her extra assistance!!!! Hopefully Joe will see this and give her a day off with pay!!! She deserves it. The rest of the crew is awesome too. Thank you to all of you😊

“I was there last wk I seeded ice cream cups there was nothing there, I went shopping and went back there was a nice man with a notebook. I asked him if he worked he he said he was filling up the self. I said would you have any ice cream cups he said let me go ck . I waited he said yes . I said I'm having a party for my handicap brother that is going to be 65 and never had a big family party cuz my family could not do it. He went above and beyond to help me he had to unload the skid and I waited. Well I'll tell you mr Al was the NICEST GUY above every thing. I thank him from the bottom of my heart . I gave him a hug . I was crying how this means so much to me what he did . MR AL DERSIVERS A RAISE AND A BADGE FOR WORKING SO Hard. IT WAS THE BEST customer service ever! I hope that his company hears this . “Last place for miles around. Good place for stocking up on snacks for a day on the water. They have a small produce section as well that’s pretty convenient, has your typical stuff like oranges, watermelon, grapes, and veggies. Probably the best place as far as money is concerned for grabbing mixers because the liquor store down the road is mostly beer and liquor with not much else. Oh and they have ice as well. ALMOST a one stop shop (still need said beer store obviously)”
“I literally love coming here every once in a blue moon, I think I've only ever seen one or two products actually over $50 so that's a major plus for all my shopaholics!The store itself is a little congested due to it being so small but a lot of updates are being made.”

“Just stopped at the Dollar General for a few items. I have to say this is the nicest DG I have been in in a very long time. When you walk in it smells clean, the cashier said hello. While browsing aisles, items are stocked and prices are marked correctly (items in correct spots). You could easily use a shopping cart without hitting over stock. I have found in other stores it is difficult to do so because merchandise blocks the aisle way. I am very impressed and will be visiting this location more often!!”
