“This was my first Hyatt I visited in 2021. The lobby was nice, quiet, and it wasn't crowded. The lady at the front desk was very nice and I like that it is right on the riverfront.”

“This was my 2nd time staying at the Westin (both times for a work holiday party). So, a business trip if you will. And both times I had a great experience with the staff (friendly) and the amenities.

Okay so the lobby is pretty nice. Festive for the holidays and there's water too next to the elevators. Nothing much to say here besides there's space to work there if you want. It's a nice vibe. And the elevators felt solid. I have lots of nightmares about elevators breaking but I felt safe in them. Took a pic too which is cool so you can see how handsome you are through the reflective ceiling. The rooms are awesome, especially for a single Chad like me.

You can see in the pics that everything looks great: big bed (softer side imo), desk for work, cute closet to hang your clothes with an ironing board, safe and fridge for personal items, etc. The bathroom was quite lovely too. No complaints there. In fact, probably the best part was that it was unusually easy to use the shower. Dead serious. Just turn left and up for hot water, and keep it closer to off for cold water. Sometimes, at hotels and resorts trying to figure out whether the water is hot or cold is a major pain lol. The view was pretty awesome too. Even though you're staring at a parking lot and the highway it was pretty neat to see the skyline. I did catch myself staring out into the heavens for a few minutes questioning my life choices.

I didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but it's there and was pretty busy when I took the elevator up to my room. Looks like good food and good drinks - a good time all around. Kinda wish I stopped by at least for a drink.

So, that takes care of the room and restaurant situation. I Uber'ed here, so can't say much about parking but the parking lot is big. The Chase Center (where my work party was held) was as awesome as I remember it; great staff, good food, lots and lots of space for dancing, partying, etc.

There's two reasons though why I'm docking a star. First, I actually heard what I'm sure were my co-workers through the walls partying it up. This was unfortunate, and given the timing, I'm pretty sure if I came here when there wasn't any sort of party, etc., I wouldn't have heard them. I say this because they were loud and I had a tough time sleeping (always been a light sleeper smh).

2nd, and perhaps most important... is the paper toilet. For whatever reason you have to reach to grab it when you're taking care of business. And this was a handicap friendly room too. Maybe it was just this room, but it was an inconvenience nonetheless.

Still, 2nd time here and I'd come here again, work party or not. Pics are attached to give you an idea of what it's like.”

“While not the worst Hilton experience I've had, it wasn't the best, either. But for a single night stay, it was fine.

Pros:
- Everything was very clean, which is exactly what I expect from a Hilton.
- The bartender was incredibly friendly and personable, and a joy to be around.
- Being personally handed the warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies upon check in was so much better than simply having them available in the lobby. Especially since the weather outside was cold. It made check in very inviting.
- The view of the sunset from the room was simply stunning.

The cons:
- The phone didn't work at all, which meant no room service and we had to actually go downstairs to get our drinks. Not horrible, just inconvenient since we were already in our pajamas.
- The wall thermostat didn't work, so we were unable to adjust the temp in the room all night.
- The small square feather pillows are hugely uncomfortable.
- There was apparently a soccer tournament going on, because it felt like there were preteen boys literally everywhere. Which would have been fine except for they kept messing around with the elevators, causing them to stop at every floor. Every time. While this is mostly an issue with their parents/chaperones, I do feel the hotel should have said something to stop it.

Overall, though, I enjoyed my one night stay here, and if I'm ever in Wilmington, DE again, I would stay here again.”

“I was passing through with my husband and 4 year old and spent the night here. We had a good experience! I remember the bed being comfortable and the room being a consistently comfortable temperature. We had a 1 br suite, which was convenient with a young child, but the door doesnt block sound. The hotel was old but comfortable and more than met our needs.”

“I stayed at this location for the first time this past weekend since I always had great experiences with this hotel chain in the past. My experience here was no different. To start, the staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful when checking in and checking out. The room that I was assigned was perfect for me for the reasonable price I paid. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had plenty of hot water to shower. The location as well is great and it is close to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel also has a restaurant on the premises that serves breakfast and dinner. I took advantage of the $15 buffet breakfast on my last morning, and they provide a good selection of items for the price. Parking in the lot next to the hotel was a breeze. The only issue would be for those with a lot of luggage getting on the elevator going to the lobby as it is super small. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and will be certain to book another room the next time I visit the area.”
