“The people who work in the Walgreens pharmacy are great. I had to take my 85 yr old mother there because the Walgreens on Faulkland Road said she didn't have updated insurance cards and told her it would be $500. She has insurance but had not received the new cards for 2024. She left the the Faulkland Road Walgreens upset and with no meds. I took her to The Walgreens on Kirkwood Highway (by BJs) and they were helpful, they were patient with my mother and they filled her 2 out of 3 prescriptions for $6.00. They understood that she didn't have the updated insurance card but she had her ID and everything else. The inhaler that was prescribed by the Urgent Care doctor was the expense ($293.00), the pharmacist recommended that my mom call her primary doctor to see if she really needed it, since the Urgent Care doctor prescribed it. I want to thank the pharmacy staff for their kindness to my mother.”

“This particular Walgreens location has been a true gem for me. I literally pass 2 Walgreens to come here. There pharmacy is pretty decent especially if Christine is working, she is the pharmacy manager and I can't think of more of a sweetheart! Everyone else has always seemed very helpful and kind. One big plus for this location is that they are the only Walgreens on this part of the city with a drive-thru pharmacy. Anyone with children or just knowing how it feels to walk in and wait somewhere when you don't feel good really appreciates this! Besides that great fact, the store is always very clean, well organized and stocked. It is also in a nice part of the city so you won't have to look over your shoulder too much on the way to your car...”

They are so easy to work with. You normally don’t have to wait long to talk to someone about a prescription and the staff are always very nice and professional.”

If there is a problem getting a medication or with insurance coverages, co-pays, etc., they cheerfully make the necessary phone calls to get you what is needed or to resolve potential problems without long waits.
