“This is the best thrift store in Orlando! So we'll organized, clean, great workers. My adult son got a whole new wardrobe for $40! They didn't have much plus sized clothes for me, but they can't control what's donated of course. They had lots of dishes and furniture as well. I highly recommend checking it out!”

“I have been going to the sharing center since they first opened.I love the store the employees and the customers. This is my favorite store of all stores. Its so nice to be able to buy things at such reasonable prices.”

“I went here a few weeks ago. The staff was excellent! This seems to be the only thrift store left that is priced how a thrift store should be priced. Prices are reasonable. Please do not raise your prices! Remember thrift stores are used and worn clothes donated for free. You’re already making a profit. I got disgusted with Goodwill and their prices and switched from them to you! So please (for the ones who can’t afford much) don’t sky rocket your prices. 😭 I’ll be back! Even my donations will start going to you instead of Goodwill!”

“My favorite second-hand store to both shop and donate to. The proceeds actually help people who need a job and assistance to get back on their feet. Be sure to visit the Boutique (limited hours), the ladies decorate it with different themes each month. It's stocked with barely worn, upmarket clothes and accessories. Then they wrap up your purchases in pretty bags and sometimes slip extra goodies inside, like perfume or makeup samples. Nice staff doing work that actually helps the people in need in our community.”

“Has three bags to drop off. Honestly, I did not even need to get out of the car. A friendly and helpful employee took out the bags of clothes I was donating, and I was on my way.”

“Lovely thrift store! Prices are reasonable and they have green tag sales on clothes for 0.25! If you’re in need of baby clothes, come here! Large area for parking & lots of nice things to look through. They had friendly volunteers. They have dressing rooms which is a nice bonus! Only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays that’s the only downside of this place. They take cards and Apple Pay with no minimum purchase required which is convenient :) on receipt after purchasing it does state no refunds or exchanges allowed with no exceptions just as a heads up.”

“Onix was very professional, communicative, and helpful when I purchased a shark vac mop. I saw the post online and he answered all of my questions before I drove over an hour away. He even took a video and shared it with me before I decided to visit the store. This store is neat and organized with great prices. All sales go towards missionary work for orphanages, food, clothing etc. I highly recommend this store and Onix.”

“I recently stopped by Once Upon a Child in Ocoee to drop off a big bag of gently used kids' clothes and gear and do some shopping. The store has a decent selection of name-brand kids' clothes, shoes, and toys at reasonable prices, which is convenient for Central Florida parents like me. Payouts can vary, but it's usually worth the trip.

The highlight was Aubrey, who greeted me warmly when I walked in and was efficient and helpful at the register. She answered my questions about the process clearly and made the checkout smooth and pleasant.

Overall, the store is handy for recycling outgrown items.”

“AMAZING. AFFORDABLE. QUICK. this place is amazing! it’s a short PCR T covid test process, you nose swab yourself and will get the results a few hours after. I literally went at 4 and got them back before 5, now sending it for my flight ? also they provide PCRT same day results for the uninsured $30-$50 cheaper than all the other places I’ve seen. TOTALLY RECOMMEND, GO”

“This is hands-down, one of the best thrift stores in all of Orlando. The Salvation Army family store on W. Colonial Dr. in Orlando Florida has incredible vintage and antique glass and dishware, vintage clothing, amazing furniture and art and the prices crush other thrift store such as Goodwill. They are so reasonable - and not only that -the staff are so kind. I received the best customer service from Donald and Rachel, Who are beyond patient with me as I always end up arriving about 20 minutes before they close because I’m coming from after work and they are the sweetest most professional people I’ve ever had the privilege of interacting with. I’m going to continue to go there and I encourage anyone who hasn’t been to check out the Salvation Army family store in Orlando Florida on W. Colonial Dr.”

“Shout out to Ms Debra she is the best. She is extremely personable, well mannered, and trustworthy woman. She runs a tight ship! She gets the job done at this store. She is very well balanced in my eyes. To be a manager of a large store like this, you have to be balanced and that’s Ms Debra. She is a leader. She leads the team and delegates very well. Some customers can be very rude and disrespectful to not only the staff but also other customers in the store. I think the team handles it the best they can. People lack common courtesy. I think majority of the team members have that courtesy! I also felt comfortable confiding in Ms Debra when I had an issue with one of the employees. She fixed the situation ASAP. As a regular, she always acknowledges me with a smile and greets me warmly. I will always come back because of her. She is a solid powerhouse lady. Shout out to Ms Blertha as well, she has established a good rapport with me! I also say hello to her and vice versa. Her English has improved so much, I’m sure some customers may think she has been rude or doesn’t say much but there is actually a language barrier with her but she speaks very well and I am here to defend that. A smile is universal. And Ms Shirley. She is so sweet and positive. Very kind and always say hello to me. Shout out to ERIC, he is always hustling and moving the furniture in and out the back. That’s not easy work. He is a huge contributor. You can count on Eric. I noticed he has been at this location for a while now and I just hope he gets the credit he deserves. That man is always hustling and responds efficiently when his team or customers need him. This location is my favorite store. They do a great job cleaning up after messy customers who leave heaps of clothes everywhere and anywhere. They do their job well. It’s the boatloads of customers who just don’t care. On another note, The furniture has increased in price a bit but most stuff is good-great condition and it goes to a good cause. If you catch a sale day too, you’ve struck a great deal. I hope these team members mentioned here receive some credit/acknowledgement because they deserve it! And so does the team as a whole, all of them work hard.

“I was in the salvation army in Orlando Florida from 9/24/2021 to March 3/27/2022. I graduated on March 27th 2022. I am forever grateful and thankful for that place. I moved to Jacksonville Florida from Pennsylvania for a job and while in Jacksonville Florida last July I drank and things got bad. I went back to Pennsylvania for a few weeks and decided to come back to Florida and I took a plane to Orlando Florida and got accepted into the salvation army. Orlando salvation army is a great place. Very great staff work there and the majors are the best they care about everyone's well being. It's a family there. God picked that place out for me and I am happy he did.”

“Great location and easy access. It’s set up well to take the donated goods right from your car with a minimum of effort and time. The staff always ask if you want a receipt. Makes donating clothing and household goods a snap.”

“Matt and Newton rule. It was such a great experience. They came to pick up some stuff to donate, and we actually had a great time loading up. They’re both a blessing to the Mustard Seed and I love the organization. I don’t have enough nice things to say about them. They were very professional and very courteous. They made moving day so much a true pleasure. It was a great experience from beginning to end, from the people on the phone to Matt and Newton.”

“My favorite goodwill but man they’re expense but they have good stuff. I won’t pay a pair of used boys shoes for $25 at goodwill now way. But if you catch some items on sale you’re a winner .”

“Love this place. Always have great deals on items. You will pay a little more for items than a regular goodwill store, but the quality is much better. Lots of collectibles for reasonable prices. I purchase something every time I go there.”

“This Goodwill is a good place to shop with good employees that work hard and have to deal with all kinds of people, please beware of some customer's who lack character and make false statements presented as a fact trying to hurt another person's or business's reputation.”

“I love the store and promos! I felt they had great deals on kids clothes. I was able to buy two large bags of clothes and get clothes for the winter for four kids. The store is organized. I saw a lot of costumes there for kids as well as Christmas items. I thought prices were very reasonable and the half off tag color is a bonus! Great savings in my opinion. I’ll be back. Thank you.”

“The coffee and food were excellent. Had a mishap with what we ordered. It appears the cook had an emergency and was not able to complete our order. The management took care of us. I would return happily.”
