Apalachicola Chocolate & Coffee Company

We stopped in and purchased an assortment of chocolate fudge, pastry, cannoli, and pie. They were all delicious and definitely homemade! The pie took me four days to finish it was so big. I was grateful for that because I kept craving it every night. I am going to have to try another one the next visit.

Up The Creek Raw Bar

Me and my husband dined here for late lunch and had a wonderful meal. We enjoyed gator tail, fried flounder and blackened shrimp. The view is stunning and the staff were friendly and attentive. Love this place!

Owl Café

The Owl Cafe is a tasty spot to dine at when you’re visiting Apalachicola, FL. In the fall, when it’s cooler, ask to sit on the roof (and shoot for a sunset reservation time) to take in the stunning views of the bay.
Also, see if you can be seated in Breanne’s section (she goes by Bree). She’s well informed on the menu, friendly and attentive (but not obtrusive).
We started with cocktails and duck fat poutine fries. So delicious that we had Bree box them up and hide them after we realized that we were going to fill up on them before our entrees were ready. Not because the service was slow, but because the poutine was addicting!
I had the cob salad with balsamic vinegar dressing. It comes topped with fried green tomatoes (also addicting). They may consider using larger salad plates because my order was so full and well presented that slicing the roasted chicken and mixing the various ingredients without making a mess was challenging.
My wife had the redfish and shrimp. Both entrees were generous and delicious.
We grabbed a huge slice of cheesecake with fresh strawberries to go (there wasn’t any room left in our stomachs).
An overall, very pleasant dining experience.
