I changed my autoship for my dog’s food from chewy to earthwise yesterday with the goal of supporting a local business. The food was delivered today but it was the wrong size bag. I called the shop and they said they would deliver the correct bag tomorrow. An hour after this phone call, the same woman I spoke with on the phone delivered the correct bag of dog food after the store had closed!! I’ve never had this level of customer service before. Highly recommend getting your pet food and supplies from this store!!! Thank you all again so much!

Capital Veterinary Specialists
1615 Mahan Center Boulevard, TallahasseeDr. Kevin Drygas and the team at Capital Veterinary Specialists were an absolute godsend for our family and our husky, King.
We traveled all the way from South Florida to Tallahassee after King was diagnosed with a tumor involving his ankle. From the moment we arrived, we felt like King was in incredibly capable hands.
Dr. Drygas took the time to examine King, perform advanced imaging, and really understand what was happening before determining what could safely be done. During surgery, he was able to remove approximately 95% of the gross disease while preserving the important structures King needs to continue using his leg. He also removed the sentinel lymph node for testing so that we could get as much information as possible about what we are dealing with.
What impressed me most was that he never made us feel like King was just another case or that there was only one predetermined path forward. He explained that the pathology and imaging results would guide the next decision and was willing to consider what treatment would actually make the most sense for King rather than forcing one particular option.
The level of care, compassion, skill, and communication we experienced at Capital was exceptional. Even after a major procedure, King was already getting himself up and walking, which was incredible to see.
When your dog is family, putting their life in someone else's hands is terrifying. I am extremely grateful that we found Dr. Drygas.
We drove roughly eight hours to get King to Capital Veterinary Specialists, and I would make that drive again without hesitation (and will be)

Northampton Animal Clinic

They’ve always been compassionate and caring and understanding The whole staff is amazing. We had to put our dog down after 15 years last August and they made it more comfortable and helped us grieve. More than some funerals I’ve been to I just wanna say thank you to all the staff. We will never go to another veterinarian ever.

Novey Animal Hospital
1157 East Tennessee Street, TallahasseeDr. Hall, Caden, Reese, and Candy were all absolutely amazing! Reese and Candy were so kind and helpful every time we called, Caden was incredibly kind and helpful, and Dr. Hall was wonderful with our very young kitten.
We had a bad experience at another vet, so coming here was such a relief. From the moment we came in, we felt like our concerns were truly heard and, most importantly, that our kitten was safe and in very good hands. They were able to get us in for an emergency appointment one morning even though we weren’t established clients, and they also helped us through urgent care around 10 p.m. one night. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our kitten was taken care of.
We are so grateful for the care and kindness we received and would not want to take our kitten anywhere else. I honestly wish we could bring our cat from home to this vet, too! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Northeast Animal Hospital
1407 Timberlane Road, TallahasseeYesterday I took my aussie in because she was very ill and not wanting to get up, move, or eat. I call Northeast and they told me to bring her in and they would get her in. I thought maybe she had a bad tooth and it was infected.
The Doctor called me and told me that all the bloodwork came back good and he saw that her tooth had been broken off some time previously but he didn't think it was infected.
Think about it ... he could have really got me. Your pet needs antibiotics, steroids, surgery, a tooth pulled; anything and a large bill that would have come with it.
He politely told me to watch my baby until the next day, If she wasn't better by noon then we would start treatment for possible infection. That night she was still sick The next morning she was up, tail wagging ready to go to the barn.
I appreciate so much the honesty and integrity shown by this vet office. They have my 100% trust and support. Thank you again for such great service.

For Pet's Sake pet sitters

They still worked with us to make sure our dog was covered.

My pup is very nervous in the beginning of new places but from entrance to exit, the staff greetings to the pupdates, I am completely charmed by this facility. They make an incredible first impression when you see how organized and cheery they are during drop off. My pup has been so happy when I pick her up (happy like “had-a-great-time”). I get amazing photos after her day that prove to me how happy she is. This is the best daycare I’ve ever dropped my girl BY FAR. Here’s one more weird but appreciated note: my pup hasn’t been stinky or dirty upon pick up. That might sound odd, but it honestly makes a huge difference and tells me the facilities are kept clean and the dogs have space! I am so happy we found Camp Mojo’s ◡̈

When we picked up our dogs they were not the least bit anxious or traumatized. They were calm and happy on the way home. They have never been like that after a stay in a kennel.

I was born in Louisiana and am amazed that they have cajun food better than some of the best restaurants in New Orleans. The food was A+, the service was great, and the atmosphere is upscale sports bar mixed with cajun seafood. They have a great selection of beer, including local IPAs, and some hard to find liquors mixed in with regular staples.
If you want amazing food, great drinks and solid service, give this place a try. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
