“Originally, I was very frustrated with my experience at The UPS Store after my award was damaged during lamination. Unfortunately, this was the second time I’ve had an issue with lamination here.
The employee assisting me, Ernst, appeared inexperienced with the lamination process and did not properly flatten the document before laminating it, which ruined the award. What made the situation more upsetting was being asked afterward if I had another copy, when these awards are typically one-time items.
However, I do want to recognize the manager, Peter, for how he handled the situation afterward. He apologized for the mistake, offered to help alleviate the issue, and when I returned later with a replacement document, he personally fulfilled the lamination request successfully. I also observed him taking the time to guide and coach his employee through the proper process, which I appreciated seeing.
While the original situation should not have happened, I do respect management stepping in professionally and making an effort to correct things. Because of Peter’s customer service and accountability, I’m updating this to 4 stars.”
“Awesome customer service. I had a check that was 9 days old and no one wanted to cash it, so I went to Amscot as a last ditch effort and they took care of me. My only regret is not catching the Lady’s name so I could give her credit. She was very thorough and patient explaining why some places won’t cash checks after 7 days. Nothing but great things to say about her and the store.”

“Shannon was very very patient with me. She answered every question and concern I had with printing labels. I had never printed labels before so she made my first experience worth the time and drive. She also kept a smile on her face whether every time we spoke (in store or over the phone). There was also another worker there who helped me as well, I can’t recall her name right now. But I know it starts with “S”. (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name at the moment). She was there with Shannon when I initially went to the store. She was pleasant as well with a smile.”
“As I sat at Tijuana flats I watched Dakota carry packages back to an elderly persons car. Then while walking past the store another elderly man with a cane walked in and I watched Dakota reach out and give him his arm to assist him then walk right into the back of the store to grab chairs for them.
