“Good deals here on water and pop check flip for sales.I have to mention the first time going there one of the staff at the counter the man has a full mustache he is so friendly.When we see in the water three for $10 the skid was empty and when I mentioned it to him he said he'd look into it he chased us down later in the store and told us that he brought the water up to the cash for us from the back that was awesome.That's what I call customer service been back many times and he's always friendly..need more people like that in this world.”

“Devin, Marion and Tom is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! There's so many things that I can say about them but I'm not going to take all of your time. Devin is Absolutely Perfect for Dollar General. He always helps me when I need something, he dropped everything and he rings me up with a Smile and Accuracy. When he's not at the register he's always working putting things up and with the smile he always be I love him dearly that is the way customer service is supposed to be and Devin has perfected that. Marion. When I first met Marion I came in the store and mind you I moved from Parrish Florida all the way over here to the West Side. Marion has always helped me with anything that I've needed came to her with the concern because as an Black Bahamian woman I needed product for Blacks. . She works so hard to get that for us there has never been a variety like this EVER in any store I've ever been in I want to say that Marian has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She is prompt with whatever you ask for she gets the job done with the smime. We have great conversations I love her also. Tom. Words can't I express the Joy that I feel when I come to the store because Tom is someone who can lift your Spirit even if you're having a bad day. He spe5ak loud and clear he remembers your name, he knows what he's talking about the last time you're seen. He he helps in EVERY way. I love Tom also. The moral of this story is that customer service is more than customer service you have to show your people that you care about them. Devin, Marion and Tom has shown that I give them five stars every time I see them I have a smile on my face. I recommend everyone to come to the Dollar General on Cortez Road close by the beach you guys are awesome thank you for what you do!!!”

And anyone who says " several" has definitely been exaggerating because if you were annoyed the first time you shouldn't have gone back, if you were annoyed the second time you shouldn't have gone back and if you really thought she was that much of a B**** You would not have gone back five more times to realize that several times you've seen her act this way. Working for minimum-wage at a store like this or on salary to work over 80 hours a week isnt the best experience. believe it. I wonder what you actually do. Have some sympathy. And don't exaggerate. This comment could've got her fired for all you know and I've been in that store many times and she's a wonderful person. You could just be the one that's hard to deal with. “Ross has a great variety of branded items at great prices. Bags, perfumes, shoes, men's and children's clothing. There are party dresses too. I bought my dress there for graduation. Nice place, well lit, large bathroom (but not always very clean).The staff are attentive. There is a discount promotion one day a week for those over 56 years old, if you qualify. Get informed. Always good discount. The luggage sector is also worth checking out”

“Not sure what the bad reviews are about but we loved this place! It appeared clean and organized and had a plethora of affordable products both name brand and generic. There were 2 or 3 employees.. didn't really appear to be doing anything but standing near the front however maybe they had nothing to do at the time so can't fault them for that. The young gentleman with the longer hair was their when we went to check out and he was kind and smiled...since we weren't paying in cash we did have to do self checkout which I guess is becoming the norm for most businesses now. I don't mind self checkout but it does suck when you have to do it literally everywhere! Overall, we will be visiting again!”

“Love love love love love love love love love love love Dollar Tree and the employees there are excellent at every Dollar Tree I've been to in both Sarasota Bradenton and Palmetto... and I would like to also add a comment to those who feel the stores are unkept... if you considered the magnitude of inventory that goes out of the store and has to be replaced... it's mind-boggling that the staff is able to keep up with unloading the inventory and ringing out the customers!? so let's give a little slack to the stores being a little unkept... because I truly feel that the employees do the best they can under the circumstances and give excellent customer service considering the demands of the customers... and also keep in mind just because the store is unkept... that should not stop you from buying excellent product there for a dollar! so I just want you to know it's a Blessing that we do have Dollar Tree stores!!”
