“* LONG REVIEW* PLEASE READ!
My wife and I went to this location yesterday as we had a custom preordered birthday cake to pick up. Upon arrival at the bakery, we realized that the cake they had given us was not the correct cake. Not a huge deal, but it’s our daughter’s 3rd birthday and we really wanted it to be perfect for her! So, the bakery associate called over the manager whose name is Josh. Josh immediately greeted us with a friendly approach and told us he would make everything right.
He proceeded to ask us exactly what the cake was supposed to be and my wife showed him the picture that she had originally showed the bakery before ordering the cake. Josh realized the differences and he immediately took the price tag off of the cake and said kindly, “Here, you may have this cake for FREE since we messed up the order”.
We thought to ourselves, awesome! However, Josh was not done there. Next, he stated that the bakery manager, Veronica would be in to close the bakery this evening and that she could quickly prepare our original cake for us as well, also for FREE!!
It STILL doesn’t end there… Josh and Veronica then put together a plan to hand deliver the new cake to our home!!! Talk about exceptional customer service! This type of service is the type you would expect in a 5 star high end resort or restaurant.
We were completely blown away by how well Josh (the Publix manager) and Veronica (the bakery manager) handled this specific situation. They completely went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that we were able to give our daughter the best birthday cake she could have ever imagined!
This experience will truly stick with me forever as I am also in the hospitality and service industry. This is EXACTLY the way a situation should be shown to new workers in training because of how perfect it was handled!!!
PUBLIX CORPORATE- Please, take notice to this very specific situation and make sure Josh and Veronica receive the proper attention they deserve for doing the absolute best they could do!!!

“This is one of the worst stores for customer service. Two employees on the floor chatting with a couple for about ten minutes. When I asked the location of what I needed the only response was a pointed finger to the area. This was not only for me but I saw other customers get the same treatment. I hate going into this store but at the moment there aren't a lot more choices.”

If you want to talk about convenience it's here, Get your food shopping and Pharmacy needs and anything else at the Winn-Dixie 5802 14th St. Bradenton which this liquor store is attached to and is a 5 star ? Grocery store with great selections and prices not to mention the great Management and staff. Winn-Dixie wine ? & Spirits ????? is staffed by very knowledgeable, helpful, polite, caring associates that will help you find and purchase anything for your party ?. Winn-Dixie wine & spirits has a month to month sale, meaning if what you like is on sale that month you don't have to rush around because the great sales are for the month. Take my advice as a verified Google local guide this is the liquor store to visit. ?.”

“None of the big stores such as AB*, Total W***, Sarasota L*** had my favourite Yukon Jack Canadian Whisky but the Publix Liquors at Twelve Oaks Plaza had 2 of the 1.5 lite bottles at an amazing price. The Store Manager was friendly and helpful and it is a rather small store so I only had to walk about 5 steps to get what I needed. Made my Day.”

“It's a typical neighborhood convenience store. Cheap beer, cold soda's, lottery and candy. Store has a smell to it other than that it's pretty much clean except the bathrooms which are always broke.”
“never shopped here till a few weeks ago...lots of deals , large meat section and lots of alcohol. A bunch of buy one get one's. They also have a dollar section! There most things are a $1.25. Seems clean and has good customer service! Seems Very Competitive! was a shockingly decent experience!It's a wonder why they are not as prominent or have as much foot traffic as some other big box grocery stores! May be comming back ,....since these other stores prices are getting a little bit ...shall I say questionable....Winn-Dixie may have a positive future ahead of itself! let's wait and see..?”
“Great local liquor store. Awesome staff, decent prices. And, they remember your name. When your only negative is how your receipt prints, or the fact you asked children to stay in a safe part of the store, or that you can’t return a bottle you walked out of the store with; then it is clear those complaining are simply looking for reasons to be offended. I also love the fact they post security camera photos of shoplifters and check fraud. I love this place, it’s a great store.”
