This is how I felt while trying to implement a new diet for my dog. I originally thought that I was going to have to figure out all these remaining questions myself (as it was taking so long to get a reply from the doctors), but when I called Holistic Pets looking for the proper foods, the nutritional expert, Gregory, told me to bring in the medical documents from the meeting with my doctor for an in-house consultation. Very quickly, he was able to answer all of my remaining questions, help me select the proper foods, and help me select items that were more affordable for me. Highly recommend Holistic Pets!

As part of the project we upgraded the faucets for the wet table. Of course I forgot to order the faucets until it was time to install them.THE GOOD: I called Nate Ditchfield. He over night shipped the faucets to me.THE BAD: The manufacture had mislabeled the box so the faucets were wrong and all of the stock they had was wrong. If that is not enough the manufacture was 3 weeks out on the correct faucet with spray.Nate Sent the correct faucet (less spray) at no additional charge. I was able to get the faucets installed and keep my customer happy.Nate communicated with me weekly as to any updated information. When the spray hoses did come in he fast shipped them to me ( at no additional cost).Because of the communication from Nate I was able to keep my customer informed and happy. Now that the project is completed the faucets look great and work even better.Nate Thank you for sticking with me through all of this. They carry a large assortment of pet toys. The staff will come by and ask if you need help with anything which is a definite plus for me because I rarely see staff from many corporations that do that anymore. They do offer sale prices at times, but the only reason I couldn't give them a "5" is because the prices are fairly high for someone with multiple pets. Overall it was a good shopping experience.

He had to make another trip the next week here and he told me to get her into the bathroom and he went and wrestled her into the carrier. He speaks very sweetly to her, and even though she hates what he did today, I don't think she hates him. A bit pricey, compared to other groomers, but she is way too shy to take to a grooming shop. Mobile is the only way to go for her.

We medically managed his pain over the weekend and we were referred by my vet to Dr. Levine. Monday morning couldn’t have come soon enough, but Dr. Levine wasn’t in! I thought that was it for our beloved boy, but the receptionist called him and he agreed to come in and see Apollo. Later that day, he had surgery for a herniated disc to relieve the compression on his spine. Today, Apollo stood up in his enclosure and took his first steps! 8239 Cooper Creek Blvd, BradentonI have a 3 year-old Golden Retriever who was recently diagnosed with mast cell tumor. A month post treatment of the MTC, I noticed swollen lymph nodes and went back to see the specialist who had treated him. The specialist would have required a week before testing the lymph nodes due to scheduling. I walked in without an appointment to UAC in uncontrollable tears. The front staff handled my anxiousness perfectly and gave reassurance. Dr. Lexi saw us right away and did an FNA of two lymph nodes. The results were positive for lymphoma. She personally called me with the results and expressed her sincerest condolences. Dr. Lexi will be the one who will be putting him down when the time comes. I have never felt more at home then after enduring such traumatic news from a staff who not only knew how to handle it, but also felt my pain as well. The staff at this clinic will always be viewed as family to me. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have them and their support through this terrible process. They truly love their patients and the patients' owners.

Dr. Doyens and his Staff provided us with an excellent service for 3 dogs and 2 cats for close to six years and we felt offended by this penny pinching.

They were very friendly and so helpful, loving and caring to our puppy!! We were so happy and grateful to have him back and back to normal!! They even called to following day to check up on him which was very sweet and thoughtful! I am so grateful for Dr. Weber, Dr. Holifield and the entire team who worked all night and day to save Twinkie's life. Both Drs were extremely compassionate and took the time to throughouly explain Twinkie's condition. They listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I never once felt like they were trying to rush me off the phone or didn't want to be bothered. Dr. Weber and Dr. Holifield are both caring veteranians and I was at peace knowing my dog was in their care. The entire staff who worked with Twinkie was kind and understood how stressful this was for me. Animal ER saved my dogs life and gave me more time with my sweet girl. I’ve always grown up with German shepherds so finally when the time was right, we brought home Freya. Prior to Freya officially joining our family, we initially planned to train her on our own. But as recommended by our breeder, it was highly recommended to seek out an experienced trainer. I spoke to multiple trainers in the area, not very impressed with their presentation and program. I came across Gulfcoast K9 and was intrigued. I set up a consultation call with Jillian and from the moment we started talking, I knew she was going to be our trainer.
Based on our needs/goals, Jillian recommended her puppy development program. We went a few weeks with freya home before her official program started and boy… we were at our wits end with her! All the typical puppy traits but heightened due to the nature of the German shepherd breed. Even though we didn’t officially start the program, Jillian was right by our side recommending different tricks and tips before starting.
Prior to dropping off Freya on day 1, I was extremely nervous. Of course all the “horror stories” of board and train programs started to flood my internet browser so I was starting to become hesitant. But on day 1 when we went to drop off Freya and officially meet Jillian in person, all my anxiety and fears went out the door. Jillian is absolutely an incredible human being inside and out and it is evident she is so passionate and talented at what she does. I knew from day 1, Freya was in the best of hands
Now looking back on how far we’ve all come, I’m beyond amazed. When Freya came back from her first round of board/train, everyone that knew Freya before was shocked at how much more well behaved she was and impressed of how much she learned… everyone thought we brought home a different dog!! The more people that Freya meets, the more people are shocked at how well behaved she is for her age!
What sets Jillian out from other trainers, IMO, is that she goes above and beyond to not only train your dog… but to train you. She’s very passionate about the dog/owner relationship and it’s evident in all our follow up lessons.
I could honestly go on and on about Jillian and the program she has developed, but I am so grateful we found her. Freya, and us, wouldn’t be where we are currently without her!

Will Thomas Dog Whisperer
3118 Bay Dr, BradentonIt was a big decision for me to engage a dog whisperer for training. I spent time researching my options and settled on Will Thomas. I remember the morning of our appointment walking my dog and saying out loud “There is no way this dog can be trained to follow me rather than pulling me willy-nilly wherever he chooses!”
But it turns out it is completely possible to train him to do this and many other surprising things by teaching me how to communicate my leadership to him.
And shocking is too mild a word for the results my Golden Retriever 1 year old and I have experienced, flabbergasted might be a little closer to describing it.
The very first thing I noticed was that my dog Seven relaxed in a way I truly never imagined. It is not that he lacks energy in any way?, it is that he is now moving to ‘off duty’ and trusting my lead. It’s amazing, he sleeps deeper, barks less, relaxes much more quickly, and yes, EVEN follows me on a walk rather than pulls.
All aspects of the training are critical, but in my opinion the most important and fun training tool we were shown is the backpack for my dog. Not only does it make him the cutest and most handsome dog on the block, but it is very satisfying to see how different he is when I put it on him. It’s like he stands up straight and says ‘I have a job’. We both really love it, and when we come home from a backpack walk he is noticeably tired.
Thank you Will for changing life for me and Seven. I’m excited about the many good years ahead of us with this dog who is delightful because he trusts his place in the pack.

He allowed me to pay him for my first visit on my next visit, very helpful. The facility is hard to find, it’s not labeled and you have to go through several gates. It’s best to call first. They have a large property for the dogs and the water was crystal clear blue. The dogs love it!

This location, more specifically its' manager, Amanda, immediately exceeded my expectations when I called the morning after my pups grooming appointment to notify her she had been nicked by the clippers on her side. Rather than becoming defensive, Amanda immediately accepted responsibility for the injury on behalf of her employee, apologized profusely and offered immediate access to veterinary care (which thankfully wasn't necessary). She asked for pictures of the injury so I promptly emailed two to her. Within hours, she had determined who the groomer was and initiated internal protocols for handling a situation such as this one. That same day, my credit card was credited the full amount of the invoice I had paid.When working with live animals, there is always the risk of inadvertent injury. I love that this organization has a customer focused plan in place for handling this type of unfortunate situation. My pup has been groomed there several times in the past and I will continue to bring her there in the future. Accidents happen and I don't believe well run businesses should be destroyed by them. She helped customized a menu over the phone prior to the trip and created an amazing menu. This was the best meal I had in Anna Maria and in my whole life. She is an amazing chef and genuine hostess! Save yourself the hassle of going out to eat and book her. The Spanish octopus was incredible. We also enjoyed the ceviche, tuna and grouper bites. Every bite was delicious! I can't wait to come back and have another dinner experience with her. She also left the kitchen spotless when she was done. She is a culinary fairy!

Purely authentic food, fresh and tasty, great service from Matt. All staff were welcoming and friendly. The seafood was delicious and the keylime pie to die for.
