They are currently working with Sarasota Jungle Garden to make sure that all of their birds have toys. The donation is a Huge help -I volunteer at Sarasota Jungle Gardens- I bought a few suggested toys from the gift shop at the Gardens because Pam mentioned that the toy was great for parrots that don't play much. My little pucking parrot LOVED it. I also use their toys for my other pets and as gifts to the neighbors who watch my pets (the neighbot has a sugar glider and I also have a squirrel) I would love to see these toys in more stores. They take great care when choosing the wood, grass, color etc. It's all human food grade!!

I come here for a special product from another all the way from the next county. Its is hard to find and they carry it at a great price. Their prices are also competitive at this store. Well worth the drive! The fish and tank section is awesome! They have all the best fresh and saltwater tanks along with some coral frags. Big store and a lot of selection of reptiles and other animals. Store also sells salt water and RODI warer for your tanks by the gallon. Helpful staff that know what they are doing! If you have any animal troubleshooting questions I highly suggest you speak to Chris. He is a great guy who will help you with all your pet needs.

He usually wears a muzzle during exams at the Vet during touching his feet and ears, but, the staff here was so fantastic Ajax loved them and it appears he didnt need a muzzle during his toenail clipping and ear cleanning. I am surprised how well they were able to calm him and glad we found a groomer that can handle the big baby like him. Thank you for the great groom and spa day for Ajax.

On an happier note, we just met with her for an introduction to our new pup, Graeme, at The Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate. It was great to see her again under better circumstances and there's nothing like a pup to make everyone smile.

I had been through 2 trainers before moving here and had little success with my very reactive Lhasa Apso. (Don’t be fooled by Buddy’s photo, he’s not friendly). Mike has done wonders with Buddy. I am so grateful for all of his help and guidance. We are making fantastic progress and I would highly recommend Mike. He’s the best!! It’s been worth every penny.

They are located about 15-20 minutes away from us (depending on traffic) and I would drive even longer if needed. We can not get him inside fast enough. The entire staff is amazing!! I love that our guy loves it here, no better feeling knowing he’s going to have a fantastic time. When he gets home, he’s exhausted from his play days.

Not only that, but also, I have four broken ribs and the dogs would go crazy if they did not get to run around. Walter Beer, the owner, has been taking them to the dog park for me and letting them run around for an hour or two.
He is the BEST. Use this business!!

They have plenty of flavors to choose from, so there’s definitely something for everyone. The ice cream tastes fresh, creamy, and genuinely homemade—not like something you could get just anywhere.
There are plenty of places to sit, which is great because this place gets BUSY, especially on weekend nights! Even with the crowd, it has a fun downtown atmosphere and is a perfect place to stop for dessert after dinner or while walking around Main Street.
And don’t overlook the coffee! I tried it and it was really yummy too. ☕ It’s nice having a place where you can grab a good coffee and homemade ice cream all in one stop.
Overall, Main Street Creamery is a great little downtown Sarasota find. Delicious homemade ice cream, tons of flavors, good coffee, plenty of seating, and a fun atmosphere. Just be prepared for a crowd if you’re going on a weekend night—it’s popular for a reason! 🍦☕

Wasn't sure what to expect the first time in but we go back over and over again since that time. Don't take my atmosphere score as a negative. The place is clean and comfortable. Just nothing special that I would normally reserve higher scores on this for.

The food is absolutely delicious every time. The ropa vieja completely hits the spot, and you cannot leave without ordering the flan—it is perfection.
If you are looking for authentic, incredible Cuban food, this is a must-try!
