“I rented a car from Alamo at PIE airport. The kiosks were not working so I did have to stand in line for about 20 minutes. However this is much better than the 2 hours I spent in line at Budget counter our previous flight. The counter clerk was super friendly and everything went smoothly. They ran out of cars but moved us quickly to an upgraded vehicle with no extra charge. Return was easy and no hidden fees. Will definitely rent from Alamo at PIE again.”

“A convenient airport to fly in and out of. We have experienced some delays here. It's a smaller airport but only four miles from our summer home. This makes it very convenient. They have a couple of car rental places in the terminal and they are always offering upgrades, which is nice. It's a direct flight from where we live in Rockford Illinois. I like that. There isn't a huge line for security check. They do have a restaurant upstairs but I've rarely seen it open for business. The gift shop is rarely open when I've been there. There was a storm going on last time we were there to pick up a friend and they circled the airport for over an hour waiting to land due to lightning. It was a little frustrating for my friend as well as us however, safety comes first!”

“We forgot our Nintendo Switch docking station in our rental car (rented through Budget) at the PIE airport. I tried to call Avis Budget directly and file a lost and found form but the airport wouldn’t populate on the website. After contacting the airport lost and found and explaining I couldn’t directly reach the Avis Budget desk, she went over and reached and employee who gave her a direct email to communicate directly with them through. The employee on the other end of the email (Chris G) went above and beyond to get us our docking station back. He had me send a prepaid shipping label and he made sure it was sent in a timely manner and I had the tracking for it. We are so grateful for the staff at PIE airport (Nicole) and to the Budget Avis staff who went and found the docking station and ensured we got it back.”

“I was very concerned of the Avis office based on the Google reviews, but I was delighted with the 5 star service. My family needed to change the car we had rented from Avis at Tampa airport for a larger one during our stay as it wasn't large enough for us. My wife had used the Clearwater office in the past and said I should change it there. Luckily they had a lovely large new minivan in stock and changed it over very quickly and easily. I was expecting some large fee but in the end the lady said it was free! We were delighted. Ricardo's team were great. Thank you very much.”
