“May be misleading but giving this Sam's Club review solely on their gas. I found a Groupon on a Sam's membership that ultimately gave me a free year + $25 in rewards, an offer I could not refuse. Gas in this area can get pricey so more often than not the delta has been $.30 cheaper/gallon from a Wawa or Raceway which is a huge savings!! Unless I'm under 50mi from E, I make my way to Sam's or Costco. The location of this Sam's club is across the way from Costco (I admit I am a member of both...) but to me Sam's has an edge simply for its location right off Gulf to Bay and US-19 whereas Costco is nestled further down, another U-turn ans light away. I love love love that they have a QR code I can scan at the pump to quickly fill up my tank. As soon as you open the app and scan, it has you quickly verify your card on file. No need to dig through your wallet to pull out 1-2 cards at the pump. Such a simple way to be in and out in minutes! I often switch my wallet/bag around and mistakenly left my Costco card at home one time. Having the membership card linked to my Sam's app is such a breeze and once I was on the Costco gas line and had this realization, it was a no brainer for me to cross the street and hop on the Sam's line. The price difference was a penny off which was awesome.I do have to shave one star off simply because the line is terrible with the tight space, especially for those coming in from the parking lot vs. The highway entrance... not sure how to help this but there is absolutely no structure and once you're in the tail end of the parking lot entrance, it's an awkward single file line that isn't sure which pump it leads to... if you do want to inch towards a specific pump, you then block one of the exits to the highway... just a huge free-for-all stressful mess, but worth it for a value!”

“James on duty. 10/17 6:40 pm Doesn't seem that concerned pump wasn't printing receipts. Took a bit of effort but I got him to say he'll tell them. He asked if I used a certain payment method like that would make a difference. He opened it and printed two blank papers. Implied it's working, as if there's nothing to be done. So its not broken? No. I didn't get a receipt... What's wrong with it, is it a machine/computer problem? How can it be fixed? I don't know. [I'm thinking shouldn't he say that he will take it up the chain of command to figure out how it can be resolved?] It's working but its not working? I'll make a note if it. You'll tell them? yes I'll tell them. He did offer to give me a handwritten receipt.”

“I went to Costco on a research mission. LOL my membership at Sam's Club was expiring and I wanted to determine which would be better for me. What I did find out was that Costco is a bit higher in price for the membership, but their in-store pricing is very similar to Sam's Club. At this point it's just whichever is more convenient. Though even with the price difference, I am hoping to be able to go with Costco for other reasons”

“Love this place! They have both buy in bulk items and single buy items, pet supplies, clothing, deli, beer and wine, furniture, herbal products. Mostly buy in bulk. All items are of high quality and their foods are delicious!
There's also a multitude of great bargains there in their electronics department, I noticed and now what the 100 inch Vizio TV selling for around I want to say 800 dollars. I didn't buy it because I had purchased a 75-in Vizio 4 years ago for 3,000 dollars. Now I can't wait for my old TV to break lol??. Vizio picture quality surpassed Sony's about 5 years ago, that's why I went with buying a Vizio project! Also I purchased a Vizio man's watch 180 at a jewelry store at the local mall. Sam's club was selling the same watch for under 100 dollars at Christmas time! Aftershock you can sit down and enjoy a very low priced piece of pizza or hot dog and a drink. Oftentimes I'll go there just for lunch great pizza! I get a large slice of pepperoni pizza for $1.80. Finally, the gasoline typically sells for 30 to 5o cents less a gallon, and I found the cars in line move pretty good Pace! Great jobs Sam's club”

“I had a GREAT experience at Costco Optical in Clearwater. Needed a pair of distance glasses and brought in my eye prescription and my own frames. Optician was very accommodating and professional, explaining the process and total costs for the order. They do charge a fee for your own frames, but very reasonable. Also the cost was approximately more than half less than going to a “boutique” optical shop, and quite frankly, in my opinion, with the same quality and craftsmanship. Optician took the time to answer all my questions, fit the glasses and was very friendly and professional and order was done before the scheduled pick up time by about 3 days. If you need quality glasses at a great price and great service, give Costco a chance. I will be going back again, no doubt. Thanks Costco!!”

The mechanics walked me through the process and made sure that I was aware of everything and comfortable with the service/pricing. They were fast with the repair and I was out in an hour or less.
