“We came here on a recommendation from a cashier at a different store on Beach Street in Daytona Beach. This a large thrift store with lots of clothing options available; however, on this visit I only shopped in the book section, which is also much larger than other thrift stores I have been to in the past. I was searching for a Hymn songbook for a good price and actually found a great selection. It's hard to believe, but another customer and I picked out the same songbook. The two songbooks were identical and in high-quality condition, yet one was priced at $3.99 and the other was priced at $5.99. We asked the manager if he could mark down the more expensive songbook by two dollars, and he took care of it for us; wow, I didn't expect that. Thank you, Mr. Manager! I also picked up a second book for $1.39. Not too bad of a shopping day at all. Nancy purchased a few new tops for a decent price too. She mentioned that it is more expensive at this store than a Goodwill; regardless, she was able to find two items that would have been priced at $55-$60 new, but found them here in like-new condition for $5 and $10. If you are in the area looking for a great place to shop everything-thrift, then I recommend stopping into City Thrift. Will you find the cheapest deal in town, probably not, but there are deals to be had. For example, all items are 50% of on Monday January 1st 2024. Happy Shopping!!”

“They have a lawnmower service shop 'round back. They'll take your broken mower in trade for a working mower or toward repair on your mower. I had four broken mowers; they fixed one and gave me credit for the rest toward the repair. They had it fixed for me within an hour. Friendly guys, good work.”
“Very nice store with good prices and friendly people. I found a set of bowls made in my island, in a factory that closed in 1977. It made my day. Amazing! From clothes, nicknacks, furniture, and things for the home... All for a good cause.”
