“We have lived in DeLand for 3.5 years and my biggest regret is not checking out this place sooner! We are starting a new flock and wanted to get chicks locally but couldn’t find any that caught my eye until I stumbled upon their Facebook posts showing what they have arriving every week. I stopped in this morning to pick up 3 chicks that I saw and walked out with 5… chicken math… Excellent customer service and so much in stock for all of your needs. We will definitely be returning when I make more room for more chickens.”

We have fallen in love with The Funky Mutt staff, extra shoutout to Justin & Jade who have taken special care of our Juke for years now. The staff is so kind, and you can visibly see the love they have for the dogs. This place is a blessing for dog owners, and we truly feel so happy knowing our boy is in great hands here! She was so kind and helped guide us to cats she knew matched our criteria. She was also super helpful when we discussed a stray cat in our area. “The Deland Cat Cafe is such an amazing place. Parking is a bit limited when it’s busy. Walk ins are available, but it’s always good to make an appointment so that you don’t have a long wait to meet all the kitties! There’s a separate room for the kittens and you need to wait your turn before visiting them. There’s plenty of seating and toys to play with the cats. This is the best place to experience a cat before adopting! We got our first kitten from the Halifax Humane Society and our second cat here! The cafe is in a complete separate building so there’s no worry about the animals. I would eat and grab a coffee first then head over to the kitties! Bring your own carrier! Pick up/Take home days are Tuesdays and Thursdays !”
