“This is actually my second go-around with Action transmission. The car they fixed for me is a heavily customized classic with a problematic transmission. The thing I like about this place is that it's family owned, and they have been in business something like 20 years. When I talk to the owner, I can tell he knows more about cars than I do, which is a thing I look for. Randy and his son have rebuilt 2 transmissions for me, including my hotrod transmission, he gives me a fair, no nonsense price and he does first rate work and does it fast. I'm pretty particular about who works on my cars, and I don't take transmission work to anybody but the Action Transmission crew.”

“the most reliable, authentic, and integral mechanic i've ever been to. went to another mechanic for a misfire, was told my engine was failing, and then knew i had to get a second opinion from sunrise. mark was able to diagnose my issue (a couple misfires and a missing engine air filter), was able to accommodate my request for a full tune up (did not push a full tune up, i asked for one) and didn't charge an arm and a leg for the service. paid less than $500 for a complete tune up including replacing all 4 plugs and coils, cleaning the throttle body, and replacing a missing filter. honest, upfront, and all around excellent person to trust my vehicle and my sanity with.”

Service on my ram and I felt very confident with a technician who did the work it's a diesel so not a simple oil change... Thinking I was going to be there a while I packed breakfast coffee and water along with a tablet to keep entertained job was complete way before I thought it would unlike the dealership that I dealt with in the past... “I am a contractor and my van is my lively hood. When my transmission failed no idea what to do. There was nobody I trusted. I had no mechanic. I found Jose and his shop of 9 years through these reviews and that is why I am writing this. Jose is an excellent mechanic above that an honest and good man. I was renting a truck while mine was in the shop(costly). This man had me back in my truck in a week as he said he would do everything he could to accomplish that. Even though he needed to get additional parts that went beyond a basic rebuild. He’s 30 miles from my house and well worth the trip. If you need a mechanic Jose and his team are where you need to go. He’s good, respectful, and above all HONEST. This is the only shop that will work on any vehicle that I own. He will always answer or return your calls and keep you posted on the work. Oh and you will NOT find extra bolts in your cup holder when you get your vehicle back. I usually don’t write reviews but I felt I had to in this case. Transmission specialist & Auto Repair they are well worth the trip.
