Oliver’s Bar and Grill
13601 SW 115th Cir, DunnellonWe had heard they turn people away close to closing time, so we didn’t plan to go there. We had other plans with family that were in town to see the kids in their activities, but that failed us. So, we showed up at Oliver’s as a party of 7, close to 8pm, without reservations. They sat us within 5 minutes and we had the best quality service and later than planned dinner. If they were in hurry to get us out, we would have never known!

Sweetie's Cafe And Bakery
20789 Walnut St, DunnellonI went with my sister and friend on a return to Sweeties. We laughed and ate lunch, having a wonderful time. The owner’s husband takes orders with a combination of skill and humor, maybe chiding you for indecision or quizzing you on which quiche he just listed ( he just gave you a list of 3 or 4 and they are ALL unusual).\n I highly recommend the tomato pie paired with a cup of tomato basil soup, both of which are house specials. The soup is served in a real cup, and plates are china. Ordering tea? ( apricot ginger is my favorite). It comes in an individual ceramic teapot accompanied by a delicate china cup and saucer. What a treat in this age of ceramic mugs and paper cups. Or just order a scone and tea, as we have seen others do. Delicious!\n Look around at all the cozy adornments. Antique collars and purses hang from the ceiling, china teapots and cups cover shelves on the walls. Hat trees full of hats stand in corners, awaiting the clientele who will join them for afternoon teas. Lace curtains hang in the windows.\n Looking for a quirky gift? Cushions, soaps, pot holders and other hand made items add to the decor. If not buying, they sure are fun to check out.\n I recommend reservations, as we have seen walk ins turned away for lack of space. It is not a large establishment, and you are not rushed - no canned music here- so don’t miss out on a wonderful experience with a lack of planning. Come with a laid back attitude and savor the good life.\n Stuffy, pretentious people should avoid this place. You won’t like it and you will embarrass us all with your snootiness.

Stumpknockers Restaurant
13821 SW State Rd 200, DunnellonWe had a wonderful experience at Stumpknockers several weeks ago with a fairly large group. Our servers, Megan and Jessica, provided exceptional service from start to finish. They efficiently split our group into two tables so orders could be taken quickly, and they delivered our drinks and meals in a very reasonable amount of time. The food was excellent, and the service was so impressive that I asked to speak with the manager to share our appreciation. I highly recommend Stumpknockers and look forward to many future visits.

Blue Gator Tiki Bar & Restaurant
12189 S Williams St, DunnellonGreat place on the water, the outside had live music and a great atmosphere, the wait staff was quick and kind. We had the grouper basket and it was so much food! 7 strips of grouper that felt like it was at least 2 filets for $18. The fish was perfectly fried and fresh, the tots were crispy and seasoned great!
