From the moment he arrived, it was clear how much experience he has. He seemed to understand my dogs and their behaviors almost immediately, even before I finished explaining everything. What really stood out to me was how much time he took to explain things. He did not just show me what to do, he explained why the behaviors were happening and how I can continue working with my dogs the right way.
Paul is very patient and you can tell he genuinely cares about both the dogs and the owners. He gave me a clear plan to follow before our next session, and I was honestly surprised by how much improvement I saw after just the first visit. I am really looking forward to our future sessions and would absolutely recommend working with him. ?

The owner’s husband takes orders with a combination of skill and humor, maybe chiding you for indecision or quizzing you on which quiche he just listed ( he just gave you a list of 3 or 4 and they are ALL unusual).\n I highly recommend the tomato pie paired with a cup of tomato basil soup, both of which are house specials. The soup is served in a real cup, and plates are china. Ordering tea? ( apricot ginger is my favorite). It comes in an individual ceramic teapot accompanied by a delicate china cup and saucer. What a treat in this age of ceramic mugs and paper cups. Or just order a scone and tea, as we have seen others do. Delicious!\n Look around at all the cozy adornments. Antique collars and purses hang from the ceiling, china teapots and cups cover shelves on the walls. Hat trees full of hats stand in corners, awaiting the clientele who will join them for afternoon teas. Lace curtains hang in the windows.\n Looking for a quirky gift? Cushions, soaps, pot holders and other hand made items add to the decor. If not buying, they sure are fun to check out.\n I recommend reservations, as we have seen walk ins turned away for lack of space. It is not a large establishment, and you are not rushed - no canned music here- so don’t miss out on a wonderful experience with a lack of planning. Come with a laid back attitude and savor the good life.\n Stuffy, pretentious people should avoid this place. You won’t like it and you will embarrass us all with your snootiness.

Our servers, Megan and Jessica, provided exceptional service from start to finish. They efficiently split our group into two tables so orders could be taken quickly, and they delivered our drinks and meals in a very reasonable amount of time. The food was excellent, and the service was so impressive that I asked to speak with the manager to share our appreciation. I highly recommend Stumpknockers and look forward to many future visits.

The hush puppies are crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful in the inside. And that peach cobbler? Crispy on the edges and melt in your mouth goodness! Cannot recommending enough!! This southern girl is happy!

My only downside was that the entrees didn’t come with any sides. When you’re spending $20+ on a dish, you kind of expect at least a salad, fries, or even a roll to come with it. Between two people, one appetizer, two drinks, and two entrees, our bill came to around $80, which felt a little steep considering everything was à la carte.
That said, I’d still come back but I would check out other places.

11080 SW 110th Ave, DunnellonWDR has been amazing to us on our journey to adding our furbaby, Echo. They were extremely helpful and educational throughout the whole process as well as continue to be. If I have any questions I know for a fact that I can text or call and be guided in the right direction. Not only are his parent's health tested (proof provided), he was temper tested so they were able to pair us with the best fit for our lifestyle and wants. Echo is the smartest and most lovable little guy. He is confident, easy to train, and the best little velcro dog. We went and met them and his mom, and were invited back anytime during the puppy's lifestage (when they had the proper vaccinations), prior to taking him home. They're far from backyard breeders and you can tell they're not in for the money. My puppy is and will forever be loved. We feel like we gained a whole new fmaily with him.?
