About Hertz Car Rental - Fort Walton Beach - Destin-fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS)
Hertz Car Rental at Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) provides a generally positive experience for customers looking to rent vehicles. Many reviews highlight the excellent customer service offered by the Hertz team, who ensure a smooth rental process and timely assistance. Some customers faced challenges with other rental agencies, but Hertz was praised for stepping in to help when needed.
While the online booking process is straightforward, first-time renters may find the lack of clear directions to the rental location a bit confusing. The rental lot is a short walk from the terminal, and some customers noted that additional fees for upgrades and authorized drivers can feel frustrating. Despite these drawbacks, the vehicles, like the Chevy Equinox, are generally clean and comfortable for long trips.
The return process is easy, requiring customers to park near the Hertz lot and check in with an attendant. Overall, Hertz Car Rental at VPS is recommended for its reliable service and wide range of vehicle options, making it a solid choice for travelers in the area.

I was impressed with the Hertz Team at the Destin AirPort! I rented the new gas powered Chevy Blazer and I was impressed with the technology, the gas mileage, the power, and the cargo space! The return was super easy! The Hertz Team did a superb job!
