“Amazing Food with Amazing History. We love eating here and have been for 20 years. The food is always incredibly good with unique options that satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. We have had some less than awesome service the last couple of visits but we don't expect it to be the norm. Hours are limited so make sure that you double check to ensure they are open. This is hands down the best Brunch on the Island and unlimited mix and match Mimosas/Bloody Maries for only $10 makes it even better. We highly recommend this place and think you will love it. We Recommend the Shrimp and Grits or "The Hoss" but literally, everything on the menu is excellent.”

“Had such a lovely stay here, I don’t know what everyone’s problem is in these reviews. Sure, the place has character. It’s old. The walls might have some stains. Grow up. Have you ever been to Europe? This is a great hotel. If you want a vanilla hotel experience go to a Holiday Inn. Me? I split a bottle of wine with my partner on the balcony outside of our room while we watched the sunset. The room was clean and our gorgeous bathtub did not once run out of hot water. Would definitely stay again.”

“I’ve stayed at this hotel twice in the last few weeks. It was great and it had everything we needed. My kids and I were treated with so much hospitality and great service. The bar manager Doug was the best. He remembered my kids and I on our second visit and remembered our orders. He even brought me my drink at the pool without asking. You can tell he is the heartbeat of this hotel and it wouldn’t be an awesome experience without him. The continental breakfast was so good and was much more than I expected. All of the staff was very kind and accommodating. I loved the bicycles/chairs/wagons available to us to take to the beach. I will stay here again soon. My kids miss Doug lol.”
