“I truly enjoyed the experience at Congaree and Penn. We sat on the patio for brunch and the weather was perfect during our visit. We had the banana bread and charcuterie board as appetizers. The banana bread was AMAZING! It is truly worth trying. It's topped with a caramel drizzle and whipped cream. I also tried the Pinot noir and the cider flight. I LOVED the Pinot noir, it had a very nice taste. My favorite of the cider flight was the gallberry honey. I also had the hot chicken sandwich as the entree and it was perfectly crisp and fresh. Our server made sure we were well taken care of and explained the menu items we ordered! We also got the farm passes and explored the farm. Amazing experience.”

“Their gyro (pronounced hero) appropriately so. The Greek salad is amazing combined with homemade dressing. Family owned and operated. The food is authentic. The atmosphere is amazingly low key and relaxed. Take out is easy, but honestly their restaurant accommodations are first class.”

“My husband and I rented The Dunn's out on November 17, 2023, for our wedding/reception. The moment I walked inside, I was very pleased with the setup. It was very clean and the environment was just excellent. The owner Glen was very nice and prompt from beginning to end. He even offered ideas with the setup for our event which was great. When it comes to renting "The Dunn's," you can't go wrong. The price was just right, the location and the customer service received. I will definitely be renting again for any future events. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the quality of the food, and many went back for seconds (and even thirds!). We're so grateful to Mai Oui for helping to make our wedding day truly memorable with their exceptional cuisine. “Great location, right along the river. My friend, Debbie F, invited me to an event and the space is lovely! They had live music, light nibbles and a cash bar- you can't go wrong! She was bragging about other events she had been to. I thought about joining the club- but I currently just don't have time to carve out for it. I will keep it in mind once I finish school though! Check out their events! They have socials, dinners, expos and activities- adult and family geared. I was impressed with their annual program!”

“I gave it a 4 because first initial contact was with Bobby, he was polite and was with us every step of the way but then came Peggy, the new coordinator. she was nice but not nice. I'd recommend it for the ceremony for location, the views of the river was gorgeous. I loved that you can have your own caterer but you have to use their club bar so be prepared to tell guests to pay their own drinks.”

“We prayed and sang praises songs by the steps to the Skyway. This is a very open area. There was music playing as we came through. It was loud and overbearing. People were sitting in an area that has been set up for eating and enjoying the day. Children can run around, and there is lots of space. There are shade trees all around the area. It is in a good location to have access to different businesses as well.”

“We came in pretty late (11:30pm). Was welcomed by the front desk, and made our way to the room then left to eat as everything at the hotel was closed. Really enjoyed our sleep.Walkability: There are a few restaurants in the area! One right across the side walk.”

“Finally a movie theater run right, I didn't think it existed anymore. A very pleasant experience, organized well maintained. I lost my friend and must have looked concerned, three young men who worked at the theater asked if everything was ok with me. I explained I had lost my friend who can get lost easily. They offered to help and were very kind and thoughtful. That does not happen in the commercial business environment much anymore, it was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this establishment.”
