Cashed my morgan and morgan check, they politely informed me that it wouldn't be in their system the same day it was printed, to come back the next day.
Came back the next day and they kept their word. Cashed me out and sent me on my way. Was very friendly and thorough. Answered any questions I had. Treated me with respect and dignity even though I came in wearing Gym shorts and a t shirt.

“For some reason my employer doesn’t offer direct deposit. After moving I opened a bank with Wells Fargo and for another very unknown reason, Wells Fargo doesn’t allow me to have my funds for another 5 DAYS AFTER I already waited 2 WEEKS for my paycheck (which is actually insanity to me). Thinking it was only a one time verification thing, I went back to Wells Fargo today with another check and was told the same thing- that there would be a 5 day hold. When I asked the clerk why she couldn’t give me a very valid reason just like the other customer service representatives o spoke with (yes I called several times and spoke with several people and none of them were really all that confident as to why I couldn’t get my funds the same day or cash it. I was told that if I went to Horizon where the check was coming from they may be able to cash it directly for me. I called Horizon around 3:50 and spoke with a very nice woman named Fiona that told me that provided all verification came back on their end they’d be able to cash my check same day with a small fee. Completely annoyed with my bank, and anxious because I have bills to pay, I arrived at Horizons drive through at 3:58 asking about cashing my check and the clerk, Sarah, told me that she would help me but I had to come in to do so. I was thrilled, not only because I could get my paycheck TODAY, but also because Sarah was kind enough to let me inside to help me with this situation with 1 minute to spare (Horizons drive through stays open until 5pm). She didn’t have to do that, and in a world where everything is hurried, and there’s a lot of upset, I am so beyond grateful to both Fiona and Sarah at Horizon for helping me with this. I briefly spoke with them both about starting an account with horizon which is absolutely what I plan on doing going forward. To Fiona and Sarah, thank you thank you thank you. You just never know how much something may mean to someone, how a person may be struggling, and today it meant the absolute world to me that you gave me the time of day at the end of your work day. I will be back to horizon, hopefully this time as a member :) 100000/5 stars!”
