“This place has an incredible selection of bird toys, perches, and accessories. I could get lost in here! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm not thrilled about birds and fish being sold in pet stores, since so little vetting goes into finding the animals good homes. I will say that every time I've stopped in, the budgies and cockatiels look healthy and spirited. I unfortunately don't know enough about fish care to speak to their aquariums, but nothing looks gross (except the requisite bettas in tiny cups). I wish they had more toys or enrichment for their birds in the store, but compared to the conditions I've seen in other pet stores, they do a good job keeping things clean and healthy.”

“I have been seeing Dr Neuman since I was 18. I will not go into detail of how long that has been but I followed her from Miracle mile. Today was an extra special occasion and I hope she sees this. Last year, almost to the day, we lost our precious Penelope! Penelope was with Dr Neuman her entire life. Well the time came and we had to make the decision to put her to sleep. We didn’t know Dr Neuman had retired and it was a quite devastating experience but we made it through. We then faced the decision to make the long journey from our home for the rest of our animals care over the next few months, would we continue to bring our animals here or find elsewhere? We live about 45 minutes away. So we did. Anyhow, we recently decided to get a puppy and she loves Dr Flannigan. We walked through the door and I almost passed out like I had seen a ghost! It was Dr Neuman in the back. I wanted to tell her everything but I just tried to stay calm. Not over load her with all the emotions from all the fuzzies and occasional feathers memories that came to me! Today we had our pups last round of distemper and we had Dr Neuman! It was a small celebration of the life of Penelope and welcoming this new kid to our family! Again I couldn’t express all the emotion that has happened over the last year, how much she has meant to my life with my animals, my little family. There’s an impact that certain doctors must not realize they make, how they change you, how they educate you, how they actually make a difference. We do not know how long she will be visiting out of retirement but are very happy to to see her again. All of our animals have their own doctors and the doctors all make each one feel special. This is the type of place that makes you realize animals still matter to others as well. Thank you for such a great team”

“A few days ago i visited the flea market and found this pet shop looking for a particular bird green cheek. The price was acceptable compared to Pets Smart and other pet shops. I found the place to be very organized, well lighted, and with great hygiene. The owners of the pet shop were very polite, and they really helped me pick out what I really wanted. They gave me tips on how to care for it at home since I also got a baby one. I would definitely recommend this pet shop to anyone that wants to buy a pet for your home.”

“Stopped in to get our dog's Rabies Tag. Had to go into the main bldg, where you would normally go for pet adoptions because the licensing bldg is closed on Saturdays. The young lady working the counter was able to process my transaction. It was $15.00 to get the metal tag, required by county rules. Our veterinarian no longer provides the metal tag, which came as a shock because we received the tag at our Vet office for the past 6 years. If we have to go to the Lee Cty Animal Svc bldg next year I will likely take my dog there for the vaccination as well as the tag. Not sure if that's allowed until I call during normal business hours.”

“Pet Kingdom was a great experience! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I don't remember all of the employees' names, but I spoke with about two male employees and three female employees, and every one of them was kind and welcoming. What really stood out to me was how clean and organized the store was. The animals looked well cared for, and the staff took the time to answer my questions. All of the pet stores near my neighborhood were closed because it was Sunday, so Pet Kingdom was the closest one. I went with my little brother, and he saw the sign for the free guinea pig. He wanted me to get it for him, and I told him it would probably have to stay at my house. Long story short, we ended up bringing him home! We've had our guinea pig for about two days now. He's still a little shy, but from what I can tell, he looks healthy. This is our first guinea pig, so we're still learning, but we're excited. Thank you again, Pet Kingdom, for your kindness and for giving us our new little friend!”
