“Amazing experience!! The deals were great and everyone was so friendly. Mary is such a sweet person and her children Micheal and I believe Faith helped me with everything I needed. Will certainly be coming back!!!”

“While I never shopped here. My husband and I got into a car accident in front of this store. It was pouring rain and the employees provided us with towels and a place to freshen up while we waited for the police. The contents of the store looked great but I think the people there make it. Support them ❤️”

“Nice, clean, and organized. A little pricey however the items looked to be in very good condition. Staff member was very friendly and offered sales information. I would shop again.”

“Beautiful things, fair prices.Be aware there is a 3% charge for credit cards - the sign disclosing it at the register is hidden behind some accessories on the counter and is difficult to read, given the coloring and text. The store also won't accept cash for purchases over $500, leaving you no choice but to pay with a card and incur an extra charge.I understand the need for small business to charge a credit card fee, but then they should also offer the ability to pay cash and avoid the fee.Just something to be aware of if you choose to shop here.”

“My husband and I have been shopping at St. Matthew’s Thrift Stores for 3 years. And we love it! I discovered St. Mathew’s in March 2020. I was trying to donate my living room set. If I had known about St. Matthew’s beforehand, I would not have bought my new furniture. We were on our way to Goodwill in Naples when we drove by St. Matthew’s. And, I said this is the place that takes donations. So, we stopped in. Can I tell you that it is the size of a car dealership! In fact, it was a car dealership! They offer everything from high-end furniture, to name brand clothing, house ware, artwork and so much more. The prices are reasonable, and they are always having a sale. The staff delivers excellent customer service. Diana, the Manager at Metro Parkway store, is AMAZING and so is her staff. Each customer feels important and receives the same respect and attention as the next person.Do not worry if you find that perfect gift and you cannot fit it in your car. Because they have a delivery service for you. Did you know they have an online store? Yes, they do! In fact, my friends have used it and were happy with their purchases. And I encourage you to sign up for their rewards program. It is FREE!We visit St. Matthew’s regularly and highly recommend it to all of our friends and neighbors! But do not take my word, go see it for yourself!”

“Nice little shop with lots of good deals. They have a no cell phones sign but unfortunately a lot of people will still take their calls inside the store. At first I thought they also meant no pictures so I was a little annoyed, but I wanted to take a few pictures anyway.”

“I really wish they would open back up. This place was my favorite store in swfl. I was so bummed walking up to the doors to see that they were gone after hurricane Ian. Please please come back! And bring back all the designer items you once featured!!”

“I completely forgot to take pictures. And it can be hard to find if you aren’t familiar with the location as the sign facing the street is still damaged from hurricane Ian. The front door is on the side of the building. It is actually a large store and a wide of various items in different rooms. Neat, organized, nice staff, and good prices. Worth checking out!”

“Loved visiting. Store was clean and kept together. This past weekend they had a special, anything red tag was only 1.50, black tag was half off. Recommend when on a budget and are in need. Staff was very friendly as well”

“Really a nice well organized store, prices are a little steep for resale but hey??‍♀️it’s for the children ? ? ??. They have a separate furniture store too”

“The one thing that rubbed me wrong today was when I asked an employee that was stocking shelves what the tag color was, and he said "I don't know, go look at the tag in the front of the store" I get he might not know, it was the way he said it, like I was stupid. Rude and kind of snotty, I felt embarrassed in front of the other shoppers. So for the good stuff, we found some good items and the cashier was awesome. He has rung us up in the past and is always pleasant.”

“This is a great thrift store with upscale offerings. I have bought some really nice European men's shirts, good linens, a Calphalon saucepan, books and other items. I missed out on a really nice set of patio furniture, but I hesitated and it was gone the next day. The volunteers are all very helpful and friendly, the store is very clean and the prices are fair. They have an entire room dedicated to holiday decorations. They also have a great selection of furniture,, dishes, clothing and household items.”

“Large selection from clothing, furniture, and housewares! The furniture is a little bit of an older style so it didn't fit what I was looking for, but there was such a large selection to look through. Store was kept tidy and the staff was very friendly. If you're in the area, definitely pop by!”

“This was the most organized goodwill I've ever been to. The clothes were color coordinated and properly separated by adults and juniors. I was impressed. The staff was friendly and smiling. Thanks for the lovely experience.”

“Very impressed with the shop. I have been to many thrift stores before and this one trumps them all. Well organized, properly managed, and the atmosphere is just so bubbly and welcoming. Samantha the one up front has a passion for her job you can tell. I will return to find some gems in the near future! Thank you hope4kids you guys are a god send for all you do!”

“This Goodwill was huge, excellently organized, and overall just a great shopping experience. They had a good selection of used stuff as well as new items. Definitely recommend.”

“This has a great variety of items in a large clean store. Very well displayed. The Chicos rack had clothes that were over 10 yrs old or more and $10 for a light blue t shirt. Regular t Shirts were $5 and tanks $4. DME is plentiful but didn't price. They did have 2 old items I could use that would be for scrapbooking and they were $1 each but that was the only items (Xyron refill for x and paper taker box) Old wooden stamps at $5!!! Punches $4!! We're not good priced. Nice staff and clean.”

“We had a layover in Fort Meyers, so we stopped by a couple of Goodwills to see what they had. We had a morning full of fun and even bought some things to take home to Phx”

“Excellent store. Fairly decent stuff. And prices are not too bad.I recently moved out from Chicago to the suburbs, and I donated 19 boxes of things to this location. I hope they appreciate it! :-) It beats throwing things in the landfill. I would even say that it was worth packing those things carefully and delicately, moving them all the way out to the suburbs, just to donate them.I think it's an excellent idea to support Goodwill.”

“Have only had great experiences here! Reasonably priced items that vary depending on quality (which makes sense). I was surprised to see negative reviews about the staff here. I’ve only ever been meet with kindness, and they are always helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here if you’ve been thinking about going to a thrift store in this area!”

“So far my favorite goodwill in the fort myers area. Just wish the walls in the try on rooms weren't painted green/colorful because with the poor lighting it can make clothes look weird”

“Absolutely love AND hate this place!PROS - Love the prices ! Always the opportunity to find something you want , need or just have to have! Never know what you might find here!! Some great deals but you have to be willing to jump in there and dig !!!! Most of the items are weighed and you pay by the pound. Never know what you might find! Everyday is different!CONS - If your squeamish about people in your personal space and in your immediate proximity this place isn't for you! New items ( bin rotations) come out every 30- 60 minutes and it is literally a free for all!! People CAN and WILL run you over to get to new items sadly. They will reach under you, over you , across you and eventry push you out of the way IF you let them!!! You have to be willing to jump in there and hold your ground. People will grab stuff out of your hand and out of your shopping cart sadly! Even take your cart if it is empty , people can be extremely rude and staff rarely enforces rules ? Quite a large group of Haitians and Hispanics that LOVE shoes, clothes , glasswear, dishes, anything they think they can resell! Quite a few resellers that load up full shopping carts. Always have to keep an eye on your cart and many veterans put sheets or towels covering their stuff up. Place can be VERY busy especially on weekends !!! Sometimes a long line to get in and long lines to check outVery interesting place! You really have to be in the mood to be somewhat aggressive and grab what you want ! Stake your claim to items you want. Fights and arguments do happen. Bee. A few fistfights and again the managers talk a mean game but rarely enforce the rules and actually throw people out. Really, REALLY glad they FINALLY banned children under 12 few months ago. Mothers would let their kids run wild and play and they were constantly under foot. Always saw infant kids in carts and mothers nowhere to be found. ? Gloves are HIGHLY recommended!!!! I've cut myself a few times and you see broken glass and sharp objects everyday! PLUS the gloves are good protection against infection! I'VE CAUGHT PINKEYE TWICE ALREADY NOW UNFORTUNATELY! Some customers don't wash their hands and items can be dirty and leaking! ??? I've found insulin needles and supplies, prescription pills, human and animal ashes! Urns! Lots and lots of prescription eyeglasses, personal documents, pictures , letters and journals! Even German Roaches!!! EWW! Again not for the faint of heart or squeamish!”

“Purchased a dumbbell from this location and although the price was slightly higher than you’d normally pay for used weights, I had a great experience. Lovely owner was very helpful and has a huge inventory of just about everything. Worth visiting and treasure hunting.”

“I absolutely love shopping at The Pink Petunia! I always find the right dress, or out fit for the event, or date that I am going to. I appreciate the customer service, and Tara is wonderful at coordinating the accessories to match. I find beautiful, and luxurious clothing here at a reasonable price. Can't wait to come in again. Thank you so much.?”
