Alfred A. Ring Park is an absolutely beautiful and incredible park with fun, relaxing trails that meander along and over a creek. It is a nice little hidden nature trail divided into separate areas: a shaded trail, a picnic area with a large pavilion, a peaceful zen garden with seating, and well-built walking bridges. The park is very toddler friendly and dog friendly, with leashed pets welcome and well-stocked dog stations. Visitors love seeing the wood horses, enjoying the view from the tower, and learning about the area in the visitor center. The playground looks new and well maintained. Some notes include that the parking area is small and shares a driveway, the women's bathroom was clean but showed rust, and trail maps and signage could be better. At times, there can be high dust in the air. The whole park experience is very nice and not too busy, taking about a half hour to walk. It is a highly recommended discovery and a great park to spend the day.
Absolutely beautiful place with fun trails! The only thing I didn't like was the high dust in the air, it was difficult to breath. Maybe visiting after the rain, it would better.
