“I had been in a car collision so I needed a rental car. Everyone was so helpful. Met Johnnie first and he got me a car and explained everything. And at the end of my 4 days, I was a few minutes. The office was dark, but she graciously invited me in out of the rain and wind. She told me she was doing paperwork and I could wait for my ride. I was there for a while and she offered to let me use her phone to call my friend. I know it was past time for her to go, but she wouldn't let me go out in the awful weather. She was so sweet but always professional. After my experience, I believe you should not only keep her on, but give her a raise and/or commendation”

“Steve came out and worked on our 2021 Cascadia. Coolant sensor was bad and had a bad wire connecting to the end piece. Steve worked hard and got us fixed and rolling within a couple hours. He fixed our issues and worked with professionalism, and he even showed me the issues so I could learn myself. Thanks Mr. Steve, very good guy at Ryder in Gainesville, Florida. 5 star service!”

“Four stars because they made it right, but they need to do a better job assigning a vehicle that has issues and somebody is obviously overlooking the safety aspect when the breaks are making noise and front end wobbled. Was given a better car the next day so wasn't an issue for us .”

“Friendly folks, but don't give ya a lot of information It's been well over a week since i rented and the $400 security deposit is showing pending on my credit card. They told me 3 to 5 business days. When i called to inquire i was then told 10 to 20 business days. I mean seriously? Anyways other than that it was a good experience and a nice car i was given”

“I reserved an SUV on Friday night. The pick up was for Sunday on Christmas Eve so I was prepared for a long line and wait. I got there before the pick up time. After a very short line and wait, my SUV was upgraded for no charge, and ready before pick up time. It was a very clean and nice 2023 model. The service lady was very nice. This was the best car rental experience I’ve ever had.”

“Needed a vehicle for an impromptu day trip to Fernandina Beach from Gainesville. Picked my vehicle up at 8am from the airport and couldn’t have been happier. Was given a Ford Fiesta but was invited to upgrade the vehicle (booked at Managers Special Rate), got upgraded to a beautiful Ram 2500 for super cheap! Marcos got me in and out in less than 5 minutes. Helpful and friendly, nice new and clean vehicle as well! Can’t beat Hertz’s fleet and customer service!”
