“I put of dress shopping for a wedding until last minute and just as I was becoming discouraged, Hayet came to my rescue. She was so patient and sweet. I was able to tell her my styles, and she was able to go around the store and pull together multiple dresses for me to try on. She even took it a step further and went upstairs to grab me different heels to match with the dresses.”
“This location had a good selection. However, they could improve on their shoe dept. But as with most stores, you’re going to find more available online. Belk always have good sales and able to use coupons. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would return to this store”

“Great parking. Near lots of great stores. Large selection for all ages. Not much bargains on the clearance stuff - if they want to get rid of it, then reduce it to a lower price.
They're a great go-to for clothing, gifts and food. Just wish they had more cashiers.”

“In Gainesville, very good size store. Large parking lot, with plenty of spaces. Good location, not a overly busy area. Prices seem to be fair for the most part. They also have some clearance sections, with deals to be found.”
“I like the low prices. The staff is friendly. The variety of merchandise is limited with this being a smaller retail store but I usually find what I want or like.”
“The store was busy, I'm not sure if that's why the cashier left the security tag on the items I bought for my daughter. I believe she deactivated them but did not remove them. The alarm did not go off when we left the store, and I wish it had. Now, I don't know what I did with the recipe.
I found the recipe and revisited the store. I expected to the cashier what I believe happened and she took the security tags off without hesitation.”
“This target is ok and the ONLY one in Gainesville . Definitely a lot better than Walmart.
Watch your prices on check out - as they are often times incorrect - just let them know and they will change them. But they will not fix the problem - so expect to tell them once you like a product that you repeat buy.
They used to be a lot better - with the smell of popcorn. That’s all gone. They are very busy now and there is quite a lot of traffic from 5-7pm.
The food and produce section is worth buying from. The target brand organic pasta sauce is noteworthy.
The bathrooms are decently clean.
There is a Starbucks with some seating.
They also have a CVS pharmacy.”
“All the staff at the The Oaks Mall in Gainsville, FL were super friendly and helpful, however, JCPenny you need to do better! How do you open a store with a disgusting filthy women bathroom! I was there at 11 AM and used the bathroom immediately at open. Trash was full and all over floor as well as 2 stalls were unusable due to condition. Very disappointing!”

“I made a run to Target for some essentials while I found myself in an unexpected extended stay with my husband at UF Shands hospital. As always, Target keeps good quality products in stock and I found pretty much everything I needed. I do think Target has raised their prices a little more than WalMart for like items but the service I receive at Target almost always beats a WalMart experience. They did have some empty spots on the shelves but who doesn't lately? For this store the advice I have is to take the time to clean up things - just because you don't have completely full shelves doesn't mean you can turn a blind eye. Keep the shelves squared up and the aisles cleared and it doesn't "feel" like you're missing anything. Checking out was smooth and the cashier was very friendly and efficient.”
“Some of the commenters RACISM is being shown... not the best Walmart but it's public shopping what do you expect. As far as crowd and ease of checking out I would prefer this Walmart over Archer Rd or the one on NW 23rd. Not as many people and wider aisles. I get an anxiety attack going into the other Walmarts. One con: the prices are a bit higher here especially with household and furniture products in comparison to Archer rd Walmart. Giving gentrification but then again so is the majority of Gainesville”
“I went to the pharmacy to get a quick vaccine. Carlos was great at getting my information and the pharmacist who did my vaccine was awesome. Super quick and easy also so nice! Usually I dread the pharmacy. They were able to pull up my charts. I had one more HPV vaccine that I forgot about and they were able to do it for me on the spot. I would 100% recommend the pharmacy to anyone that asks.”

“My experience today was very good. I made my purchase by pickup and although I have no complaints regarding the products purchased, however I had to wait a bit for the products to be brought to my car and all the spots were busy. But however I will buy by pickup again.”
“Thank goodness for self check out. I can get in and out. Unfortunately, some bad apples have ruined the freedom of putting items like cosmetic, and detergent directly into your cart. Overall, I will Walmart, always get assistance when I need it.”
“Well stocked, great prices on household cleaners and sundry. Boosie, who's been there for years, is fantastic! She's fast and is a nonstop worker, but she's always so friendly, and I love that she can multi-task. She can chat with me briefly while ringing me up, and never miss a beat, or hold up the line. “Some people may say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, but I would have to politely and firmly disagree Those people have never been to a Walmart on a Friday night or a Saturday afternoon heck even a Sunday morning. Let me paint you a picture; 7 AM the emo chick in the Cookie Monster pajamas standing in the cat food aisle unsure what her six cats at home is gonna enjoy. She chugs the rest of the white monster that she hasn’t checked out and has been drinking as she peruses the store. sets it on the shelves next to the meow mix. She’ll be going with pure balance assuming it’s the healthy choice but it’s actually just Walmart signature cat food.”
“Always open for whatever you need. Quick in and out. Greeters are slow on greeting but that has always been the case at any Walmart I have been to around the country.”
“Friendly workers and had what we were looking for since we waited till the last minute for the big gift. Couldn't find the meta 3 headset anywhere but stark Walmart told us that this one had 4 left by the time we got there they had 2 . So son will be happy.”
