“This is my go to liquor store as it's near where I work. They're very friendly and have a wide variety to choose from. Based on my experience at other liquor stores in town they're prices are very reasonable.”
4PM - 2AM
40 SW 2nd St, Gainesville“This place is amazing, the clientele is absolutely top notch, and the selection is plentiful. The salmon obsessed owner is a real treat to interact with as well, he loves his customers”
“Had a great experience here yesterday 9/1/23. I was looking for a port to prepare duck with and wanted something drinkable on top of good to cook with. Walking in I was able to describe what I was looking for to the person at the front desk and he was walked with me to the appropriate section of the store. We talked about different options and eventually settled on something higher end for my fiancé and I to share on his birthday, despite needing 4oz for a cherry, shallot, and duck fat reduction. I brought home the Taylor Fladgate 10 year old Tawny Porto and it was perfect. With the cherries in the sauce for the duck it cooked beautifully adding a nice aroma and rich color. I cannot emphasize how rarely my fiancé and I drink red wine. Maybe 3 times in 4 years of dating while we have had white wine countless times. We both kept sniffing the bottle while our meals cooked, waiting to taste it with the meal. Perfect pairing, especially with the strong fresh cracked pepper in our salad and honey goat cheese and fig spread.Thank you so much you to the cashier who took the time to talk the options over with me and listened carefully.”

2440 SW 76th St Suite 110, Gainesville“The first place in town to regularly carry my favorite beer, they're still the first to get seasonal flavors and it's a great neighborhood place to have a beer and chat with friends.”
“This is a great store. They have a little bit of everything, and it is all pretty well organized, with signs showing where what kind of alcohol is. Wine can be a bit difficult to navigate despite the signs, but they have a lot of wine. The staff is always friendly and more than happy to help you locate what you're looking for. If you're a cigar smoker, they have a very decent selection in and out of the humidor room. Of all varying sizes, shapes, and flavors. I go here mostly for the cigars, and it is always well stocked. All in all, if you need alcohol or cigars. It is worth going. They rarely run out of anything, and it's a clean, friendly store. I would highly recommend this store.”
“Always stocked up and ready to serve, this is one of the nicer liquor stores in Gainesville. Conviently located by WAL-MART near DMV (ironically). This store boast some of the finer spirit selection. They also have a costom cigar room for all you tobacco enthusiasts.”
10AM - 11PM

“This is a cute place with very good food. Sandwich and soup combo was tasty but the tomato bisque didn't go very well with the veggie sandwich I got. Ingredients were very fresh and the price isn't too bad.Vegetarian options: Very good vegan and veg choices on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options and made to order.Parking: There is free parking nearby but it will be routinely taken.”

7415 NW 4th Blvd #10, Gainesville“This place is great. They have a huge selection for where they are located and the size of the business. They have alcohol tasting events which is always fun. The owners are nice and always very helpful with recommendations and assistance.”
“It's always a great trip when you get to walk around total wine. They had lots of sample areas set up however very few people at them so I was unable to try a few that I wanted to buy. But I always love getting to browse this store. So many fun things so look at and liquors I would never think to drink. Dill pickle vodka- a NO for me but you may like ?”

Owners are available to take request orders, and will respond in kind to any polite customer approaching them. You may be able to find slightly better prices around town, but if you don't mind paying a bit more to support local this is a start.”
“If you are in the area and need liquor go here. Their personnel is really friendly and qualified. Tony helped with my purchase and advice what to buy for the occasion. 10/10”
“Only place in town that stays open until 11 pm for " beverages". You can get it at the clubs/ restraunts; however, having the flexibility when you rather grill out and stay home makes it nice if we need a last minute beer/liquor/wine run.”
“Gator Beveridge has an awesome selection of craft beers. I was surprised at the IPAs that I was able to find today. The man at the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable.”

I like the store, although navigating it is a bit confusing sometimes. The prices are reasonable and the selection was great. I found everything I needed. What stood out the most, though, is the friendliness of the employees. Every single person I encountered was engaging and kind. I was asked a couple of times how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything. Such a great experience. I always love visiting Publix grocery stores when visiting.”

Don't forget when you shop at the SE Winnie, there are incredible deals on beer, wine, and spirits at the liquor store on the far side of the building. As well as combination discounts with some liquors and MIXERS! The prices here often challenge greatly what I find at Total Wine, and Publix liquor stores. Thanks my staff at Liquor Winnie SE. Rufus the department manager provides a great expierence for me. Friendly and all since her started. Good man. ?”
“Mike P. who works in the Publix Liquor was the best employee I’ve ever encountered while going there!! He welcomed me in as soon as I got there, had a conversation with me not only about what I wanted to buy, but about other things like my new puppy and gave me tips on how to care for him!! Mike is an outgoing person and because of him, I will always come back to this location!! Thank you Mike!”

1030 SE 4th Ave, Gainesville“This is a good convenient stop for refreshments. The food truck and the lady who cooks the comfort food is the best feature on Fridays, usually Saturday and sometimes Sunday that rivals Mama Low's Restaurant that used to be downtown serving the best soul food around!”

“Harry has very good customer service and takes time to get to know his customers. If you need a good reasonable drink drive over and check him out!! My ppl good ppl!!!”
“I was exacting this place to have limited options and/or be super expensive but wow…this place actually has great options and reasonable prices ?!?!? They sell locally made tempeh for a great price…lots of Tofurkey options and Upton's stuff. Multiple brands of tofu. Plus they have a to-go section with plenty of vegan options! I was kinda scared but I'm so glad that I tried this place out. It's a bit far from me, but still…will be coming back.”
