“My family was visiting from florida and needed to go to this store a couple of times during our trip. I like the store, although navigating it is a bit confusing sometimes. The prices are reasonable and the selection was great. I found everything I needed. What stood out the most, though, is the friendliness of the employees. Every single person I encountered was engaging and kind. I was asked a couple of times how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything. Such a great experience. I always love visiting Publix grocery stores when visiting.”

I asked for help to an older man, and even though he was helpful, he tried many times to steer me to a different brand or a more expensive one. When I told him I had to get the brand I was asked to get, he appeared irritated. Otherwise, it was a good experience.”

Green Apple Liquor Store located at 1602 B NE Waldo Rd the service there is Exquisite! Friendly! and Lots of Fun! The store has a substantial variety of things to choose from and sometimes, purposely, we don't purchase some things just to return the same day bcuz of the service, go see for yourselves the store and especially the service is awesome! “this is a pretty nice Publix. I've been to a bunch of them in Florida Georgia, etc. and I would say this is one of the bigger ones. They have a really good childcare department caring a lot of the formulas which is really nice. The pro department is nice and when I went there at the bakery department was extremely helpful. it's very large and spacious as well and extremely clean from when I went. Weirdly enough the parking lot has large parking spots, which is nice. The prices are normal for any Publix. Everyone here was very nice and helpful and they seem to have everything you need. one of my favorite Publix of all”

“Stopped in for a lighter. The sign says cash only but that's just for gas purchases. Cards are good for other stuffs. I'm leaving 5 stars today bcus I normally expect to pay a 50cents surcharge when paying with a card under $5 bucks when i'm shopping at a Ma & Pa shop... But the my charged me $1.06 exactly for the lighter on tap to pay. That just shows me other shops are being greedy when they charge extra 50 cents to cover card fees. This guy sold me a lighter for half what other Ma & Pa shops charge, and still didn't take a surcharge for card payment. 5 stars. Thank you sir.”

“The man/cashier was very kind. The other customers were kind as well. I read a former comment where someone said don't go there if you are a minority. That is not the case. I was the minority..the only white guy in there. Everyone else was folks of various shades of human. 10/10 would recommend..fair prices and decent stock.”

This liquor store in one of my favorites. Yes it's in a mixed/rough part of Gainesville, But it's also the only one open at 8am. Upon entering it's small and not much but a glass wall. It is what it is. The owner is friendly, and knowledgeable. The selection is there! If your looking for something special, or specific he may just have it hidden. Also if you're a customer like me, and are a bourbon / whiskey connoisseur, ask if he has any deals... Also if you're a bourbon collector, he does have a bunch of rare bottles that a lot of people in the area don't have. I'm not sure if he allows one timers to buy them or if it's left up to repeat customers, but it doesn't hurt to ask..”
