Red Roof PLUS+ Gainesville is a nice budget hotel in an amazing and great convenient location, right in the middle of the mix. The staff are pretty nice and friendly, with remarkable service showing a sincere willingness to help. Rooms are clean and well maintained, with very comfortable beds. The rooms are average, though tiny in size and show some signs of age and wear. The bathroom had seen better days. Issues noted include a very dark, small TV, a non-working room safe, and occasional housekeeping disturbances. The place smelled like wet dog, as they do allow animals with no pet fee. Amenities include a nice-looking pool, an elevator, a lobby water machine, and coffee offered until noon. There is no breakfast provided. The smart TV was great for streaming. The overall experience was good for the price.

Front Desk clerk was friendly. Had an issue with the 1st room, but the clerk was helpful and got our rooms switched quickly and efficiently.

People are pretty nice at the front desk The rooms could be better but they are average. Beds are very comfortable. Locations amazing It's right in the middle of the mix.
