I feel this is one of the good hotels in Gainesville .. breakfast spread is the best... Hotel staff are very friendly.. Rooms are well maintained... Kitchen is also available with basic cutlery which is the best part for the people who are coming for a longer stay...

All I want to say is that in the middle of evacuation where guest and staff are incredibly stressed, George/Jorge was Incredibly helpful and kind. Always with a smile….that makes a huge difference and balances out all the things that were not clean properly.

I have never experienced such poor management practices. I booked a room almost a year in advance for this past weekend. The day before arrival I even checked in on the Bonvoy app. When I arrived at the hotel I was told my room was cancelled because they emailed me 2 days prior to my arrival to request a credit card confirmation. The email was from Katina Brown with the subject New Credit Card Authorization. No mention of the hotel or my confirmation number in the subject. According to the email I had 4 hours from the time the email was sent, to contact the hotel with an updated credit card (mine holding the room had expired). No phone call attempted. No notification in the app. And best of all no help when we got to the hotel to find alternative accommodations. Just sorry, we’re booked. Fortunately Hilton was able to accommodate us for the evening in a town of sold out rooms. I’ve never been so disappointed by the unprofessional I experienced with this Marriott Residence Inn I75 Gainesville team.

Hello, I booked this hotel for my parents who were evacuating from hurricane Helene. I put my card on file for them to be able to extend the stay. Each night they were given a hard time by assistant manager Bryan Stipcich. On Friday, after the hotel knew we had a card on file, Bryan Stipcich barged into my elderly mother's room, she was in her pajamas and frightened. My parents are upstanding citizens, they are both retired school teachers, they simply needed a safe space to evacuate to. This manager was very unprofessional and should NOT be in a position of leadership or working with people, they could also tell the staff was a bit frightened. I am not seeking compensation for their stay. I am seeking behavioral correction for this manager. He should not be treating his staff or guests this way. You are opening the door for a lawsuit with this man being in charge. Like I said my card was on file, and I would have spent thousands for them to stay safe. Money was not the issue here and should not have turned into this. My parents were treated like homeless squatters.

This is our favorite place to stay on the west side of Gainesville. We always choose this Residence Inn, because if its proximity to family, but also because we think it is the best hotel on the west side of Gainesville. We find the staff to be helpful, courteous, and feel that they want to take good care of us. The rooms were recently refreshed, and we love that we have a full kitchen, and a small suite. Recently, the management went above and beyond to help us with an issue, and we were very pleased. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this area.

Told I was on the "quiet" side(3 stars). No sleep as the fast lane of I-75 sounds like it's in the room with you. I stay in hotels 300+ days a year, never this one again. Checking out after day 1 of 30 days if I can find a new place this late, thanks Marriott for no sleep.

The hotel was amazing! , The staff were super friendly, courteous, professional and welcoming! The hotel is conveniently located to the I-75 highway and very close to University of Florida and local restaurants! The hotel was clean, the rooms had cool things like remote controlled window curtains from the light switches, was spacious, TV"s/cable, offered free breakfast including eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels and coffee and lots of very friendly staff!
