The Residence Inn Gainesville I-75 receives mixed reviews. Some guests find it clean, with friendly staff, great service, and comfortable rooms, and are happy to stay again. The property features kitchens with appliances and utensils. However, other guests report significant issues. The hotel is described as dated and outdated, with very old windows offering poor noise insulation from the nearby highway. Some rooms face the freeway directly, causing noise. Problems noted include uncomfortable beds, a disappointing cold breakfast, malfunctioning TVs, and occasionally unprepared rooms with crumbly sheets or dust. Reception staff training is sometimes questioned.
We have stayed at this location a couple of times now and each time has been great. Felicia at the front desk was super helpful with holding packages for us and being flexible with checkout. The location is close enough to UF campus as well as shopping and restaurants.

The hotel staff were great! The breakfast bar was 3/10. Pool was clean. They do a wonderful job accommodating guests with pets.
Rooms could use more cleanliness. Air vents facing the bed got me sick but some people may be ok with that.

Ivy was really sweet and a great help!! They gave us cold complementary water bottles for our trip back to Orlando!! Nice and helpful people!! The room was nice too
