“Hands down, one of the greatest veterinarian experiences. I wanted to find a new vet for my Russian Tortoise as we are new to the area. Given how challenging finding a good quality and affordable vet is nowadays, I was extremely hesitant to try one I simply found on the Internet. Lo and behold, I came across Dr. Rolfe and her team at the Bird & Exotic Hospital off Lake Worth Road. Finding the office was made easy thanks to their ability to text you the location, as well as a detailed list of what they would like for you to bring in. I also received a first-time patient survey that provided them with basic information about my tortoise. When I arrived, I found ample parking in a rather large and spacious parking lot. I strolled into a very well-maintained and modern clinic. I was given a warm greeting by one of the front desk staff. They provided me with visitation details and directed me to their comfortable waiting room, filled with plenty of chairs and reading material. I waited no more than five minutes before we were called in. The nurse was extremely polite and outgoing. She took a detailed history as well as answered any basic questions I had. Immediately after, Dr. Rolfey came in and saw my tortoise. Similar to her staff, she was kind and respectful. She took the time to answer my questions and was very funny! It was very welcoming here. I felt like they were talking with me, not at me. They provided me with the costs of every service and product they offered, with no pressure to do anything, while suggesting their honest opinion if I should or should not do something for my tortoise. Before I departed, they gave me a list of suggestions as well as my bill. Paying was very easy too. I cannot believe how well I was treated here. I frankly wish my personal primary care doctor took as much time as the staff of Bird & Exotic Hospital did to thoroughly answer all my questions and provide guidance.”

“I've gotten a cockatiel here and a ferret, and both were wonderful people friendly animals. The price was also a lot better than the other local pet stores and the staff is always super helpful with questions or concerns I might have. It's a great little spot for small mammals, reptiles, and fish.”

“Excellent staff. They're extremely helpful. They were all wearing masks but vaccinated customers don't have to now. The pet grooming service is definitely worth it. I just bought a 3 month old cat here that they receive from Peggy Adams and he's healthy as can be. Reasonable price, microchip is included and already neutered. I recommend this store.”
