I brought my 15-year-old dog recently, and even though we live in Michigan and are only in Florida for the season, I didn’t hesitate to bring her back again. They treated her with so much love, patience, and respect—exactly what a senior dog needs. When I picked her up, she was calm, happy, and looked absolutely gorgeous. It means the world to me to trust someone with an older dog, and Pawfect exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! 🐶💖

They genuinely care about your pets and always do everything they can to get you in when something is wrong. They follow up, check on your pet even after hours, and are incredibly responsive with updates.
What I appreciate most is that I trust them. They do the appropriate diagnostics and focus on figuring out what is actually wrong rather than pushing unnecessary procedures or surgery just to make money. They always try to help and do what’s best for the animal.
Jeff is the absolute best. When my insurance company incorrectly categorized one of my dog’s illnesses as pre-existing, he went above and beyond to help me. He submitted amended veterinary notes, contacted the insurance company, and even wrote a letter explaining the situation. He absolutely did not have to put that much time into helping me, but he did. Julia and Brenda are always so helpful too.
After five years and four dogs, I can confidently say they truly care about their patients, and the people who love them. I’m extremely grateful to have a veterinary office I can trust.

26 Southwest 4 Avenue, Hallandale BeachI used to live in Miami, so for many years I took Khali, my lab to a different vet. After moving to Hollywood, a friend recommended Neighborhood Veterinary Center and Dr. Carlos, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by kind and welcoming front-desk staff. There is rarely a long wait, and if there is, I completely understand that some cases simply take longer and are outside their control.
The vets take the time to ask questions, listen to your concerns, and genuinely help. Everyone is always patient, caring, and kind. They also approve online prescription requests quickly, which makes a huge difference. With other vets, I would have to keep calling to get approval so Chewy could ship my dog’s medication.
My dog gets so excited the moment we pull into the parking lot, she truly loves going there, and so do I. Their prices are reasonable, and I have always had an amazing experience.
I’ve since moved farther away to Oakland Park, but I still bring my dog to Neighborhood Veterinary Center because I don’t want to take her anywhere else.

714 South Dixie Highway, Hallandale BeachThey have delicious bourekas. There little store is very difficult to find. But it's right behind Tania's table in 186 street and W. Dixie Highway. I love the potato and once in a while, I like their Kibbe. You have to have good Tatziki sauce for the kibbe. They have a lot of different bourekas. Spinach, meat, cheese and a variety. This is pick up only. They are frozen. You have to heat them up in your oven yourself. They are a little expensive but they are worth it.

I was bummed I didn’t get the large ? I don’t think I can go back to powdered taro after that & I personally really enjoyed the texture! It’s an hour drive but I’ll be coming back anytime I’m back in the area! ❤️

I’m honestly so sad I didn’t take any pictures 😭 My man and I got the fried calamari and lomo saltado, and everything was SO good. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The two ladies working there were also so sweet and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I’m so happy I found this place! Definitely adding it to my restaurant rotation because I’ll be back! ❤

Nice staff, ordered arepa pabellon, queso arepa, coffee Venezuelan cinnamon roll that has anise in it & queso on top. The roll is unique & very strong in anise flavor but delicious with the queso. The pabellon was my absolute favorite, the flavor and size is perfect for a snack. I love frijoles negros. I took another one home. Good coffe too, they have alternative milks to choose from which is hard to find at any South American cafe since it’s traditionally cow milk. I’m lactose intolerant so it’s perfect! I got soy milk :) Will be back.

My recent dining experience at Piola on Hallandale Beach Boulevard completely blew me away, thanks to two incredible team members.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the manager, Lucio. His professionalism and leadership were evident right away, setting a fantastic tone for the entire establishment.
However, the absolute highlight of the experience was our server, Viviana. Her attention to detail, genuine kindness, and high level of professionalism were unmatched. In my professional opinion, her skills go far beyond standard service—she operates at the level of an Assistant Manager at the very least.
It is rare to find staff members who truly understand the art of hospitality. Lucio and Viviana make an outstanding team, and because of them, I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
