3842 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdalemy pup LOVES his wynwood hepatic rx dogfood. he was diagnosed with copper processing disease and was hurting his liver. he was such a picky eater and it makes total sense now. He has never been excited about any dogfood. it was really hard to find anything he would eat regularly. after trying MANY kibbles, freeze dried, air dried, regular kibble, fresh, frozen, pantry stable fresh, raw, he would hardly touch any of it. we dubbed him a free feeder once we found a kibble that wasnt outlandishly expensive that he would nibble on throughout the day. after finally trying one other hepatic fresh food that he turned his nose up to, I found wynwood through I think it was chatgpt lol. We got our first order today and I was skeptical even though it smelled amazing! it is the best smelling dogfood i have encountered! I want to try it, thats how good it smells. as if i had made it in my own kitchen! when I put it down, Biddy (Tuck) sniffed it a little while, which he always does with anything, and slowly began to kind of pick at it but never turned to look at me with his ears back and a sad look on his cute little face when he doesnt like something, as if to say "I'm sorry mom, it doesnt taste good either." so I walked away slowly and not 5 minutes later I look over and he is licking the plate clean!! He has NEVER finished any dogfood in one sitting! he even walked around the area sniffing and looked up at me like he wanted more! Just to be safe we started out with a smaller amount so there are no upset tummies but this experience has made me a customer for life!

The owner kept in contact with me for 2 weeks to make sure he was transitioning well and came over many times to bring him things when i felt he was having a hard time or not eating enough. Its been about 2 months now and he is doing great. She even watched him for me when i had to go out of the country for a week & couldnt get a sitter in time:m. When i picked him up he came home a pound or 2 bigger so i know she is doing something right!!! Im happy to have gotten him and i reccomend anyone and everyone to get your dog from her!! She cares for them like they are her own children she birthed. She also potty trains them before hand so it makes their transition into your home smoother. Hes such a good boy??thank u yorkie babies

They also was suppose to brush her teeth but It’s clear they did not brush her teeth because they had a muzzle on her which let’s me know they was not able to brush her teeth. I was still charged for the teeth brushing when I know they did not do it. When I got her she still had debris on her that let me know She was not even brushed and cleaned properly. She still smells like pee And she is shedding tremendously. This was the worst experience and I would not recommend this place. It seems they’re just in it for the money and they don’t care so I’m going to take my fur baby somewhere that actually love animals.
Update: I changed my 1star to a 4 star because I voice my concerns to Liz how disappointed I was about my services today. she re-washed Coco and had her clean plus smelling amazing.

I got Gracie about 5 months ago, just 2 weeks prior her 8th birthday...her previous owners fell ill and had to go into hospice, but fortunately her previous family sent her along with her vet records and backstory. From what I was told and what I read, her previous grooming sessions did not go well. I wanted to cancel today's appointment (out of fear) so many times, but I read the reviews and the ones that I read are what reassured me to keep the appointment. I'm so thankful for Michelle and her staff! Beyond words, so thankful. Michelle won Gracie over and Gracie is still smiling ear to ear from having such a beautiful day! Michelle was beyond reassuring and her integrity speaks volumes! She did not force certain things on Gracie because her priority was winning Gracie's trust and making sure that she wasn't too stressed. She didn't try to rush the situation and took her time. Michelle's true heart is with the animal she is working on. I'm so moved by today's experience! I wish I could convey my feelings better but all I can say is I am filled with so much gratitude for how Michelle treated Gracie today. ?

Dr Highley spent much time with my Maltese when he required a complicated dental cleaning… his professionalism, expertise and caring for him was over the top. He called back after the procedure and for several days thereafter. I am so grateful to him. Dr. Morales was on call the weekend. This same puppy had an urgent issue. She was on top of the cause and took care of it immediately. I love how the staff are so kind with each of our pups, and call back to check on them after being seen. Additionally, they are open both Saturday and Sunday in addition to their five days of week office hours. We are so grateful to this animal clinic and would recommend it highly. Thank you to all staff at Siler animal clinic.

Aside from being a knowledgable doctor, she is incredibly compassionate. While I wanted to save my dog, I didn't want to torture him, so at each stage I'd ask her what she would do if it were her dog and she gave me honest feedback about each potential procedure/method. I trusted her completely and when it was clear we were losing the battle, I refused to make any decision until speaking to her. Ultimately, she helped me make peace with the heartbreaking decision to let him go with dignity. While I wish I had a better outcome to share, I couldn't have dreamed of a better doctor to fight this fight with. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I am, I'll be calling Dr. Camps. And Dr. Camps, if you happen to see this, I am forever grateful for the extra time with Cupid.

Before coming to Learner and pooch I invested in a very expensive dog trainer. She came highly recommended and she was very confident that she would have my puppies trained in 2 weeks. It was the worst experience, my dogs went into bootcamp and came back worse than when they left, I was horrified and overwhelmed. I needed to get these puppies trained, and was at a loss of what to do. Then, I came across Learner and Pooch, I reached out to them and have never looked back. Best experience ever, and worth every penny. If you are looking to have your dog properly trained and thrive in their doggie life, this is the trainer for you.

We take him about 2-3 days a week for the day to break up his week while we work long hours. He has stayed overnight a couple times when we have taken a short weekend trip. He plays most of the day and comes home exhausted, he usually spends the entire day after “camp” resting. The team treats him great and knows his personality so well. I am grateful to have a place to take my dog for interaction with other dogs, playtime, and if I ever need a last minute “dog sitter”. He is so happy here.

2612 Griffin Rd, Fort LauderdaleThis has to be the quickest review I've made, but it's well deserved. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles. The staff is so sweet and truly makes you feel welcomed. My boyfriend has recommended this place to me a bunch of times, and since I was in the area, I finally stopped by. I ordered a horchata latte. It was perfection. You could really taste the horchata and the cinnamon. As for food, I decided to go with a breakfast sandwich. They have a board that shows you the types of bread they have, but they also literally show them to you in 3D form. They are all there in front of you. I chose a Cuban bread with egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was big. I didn't expect it to be so big, and I loved it. Just like the ones my mom used to make when I was a kid. The price for everything rounded up to $13, which was amazing. In other places, $13 is just a coffee or a sandwich, not both. They have this very big bookshelf with a bunch of books that you can read there, or if you want to take one home, you can just leave a small donation. The place feels very cozy, just the vibe you expect from a true coffee shop. Best believe I will be coming back. Hopefully next time I can try a woca latte.

Food: good food, fairly creative menu items, my carnitas hash was loaded with flavorful pork, the eggs were an afterthought. Service was ok, they served coffee on a mug with lipstick on it (all men in my party), water wasn’t refilled, had to ask for cream multiple times. Food came out fairly quickly though. Ambiance: they had music blasting in the 2nd room, many guests were displeased, we asked them to lower the volume since we couldn’t hear each other, which they did, only to be amped up again minutes later, to which we were told ‘someone is looking into fixing it’… ummm, it’s just a knob!
Price: Food was good but just the service charge alone (not tip) makes these prices very high for the quality.
This is a place for tourists, you are paying for ocean view, for us locals there are better options.

1499 SE 17th St, Fort LauderdaleI love a local ice cream shop! We came here late on a Saturday after grabbing dinner nearby. The coconut ice cream I tried was creamy and rich with pieces of coconut mixed in. It had a really well-balanced sweet flavor without leaning too artificial. I would absolutely get this again (maybe with hot fudge next time!). I also tried a bite of their chocolate brownie, which was equally delicious. Portions are surprisingly big - I think a normal small cup is two scoops. I went with a kid's size and it was plenty for me. The place itself is on the smaller side, but it seems like they have a little patio with seating out back as well. There's a few customer only spaces on the side of the building, which is nice for an area with limited parking available.

Archibalds Village Bakery
608 Breakers Ave Suite 1, Fort LauderdaleThe bakery is right around the corner from the Atlantic Hotel where we were staying at. My husband is from NZ and he is always is in search of a good bakery! We walked over there to find this cute little hidden gem! You order at the counter and they give you a number to receive your food outside seating! The staff were very friendly and helped with all of our questions. My husband had the ham and cheese and I had the tuna sandwich and both came with a side. My husband had the kettle chips which I ate most of them and I ordered the chocolate chip cookie for my side which he's not big on so I scored both!! We shared a bottle of Coke Zero which you will find plastic cups outside and to help yourself to water. We both loved the flavor of our sandwiches and bread said it all!

2609 E Commercial Blvd A, Fort LauderdaleTried Gratefuel Cafe and overall thought it was a really cute healthy eats spot with a lot of interesting options. The place is very Instagrammable -- both the food and the decor are really colorful and aesthetic. They have indoor seating plus a little backyard-style seating area, which is great if you have kids or just want a more relaxed vibe. Service was a bit slow, but we did walk in during a busy time, so it was understandable. We tried the Slow Glow Sunday (Ube Dream Pancakes + Dragon Fruit Coconut Water Latte). The latte honestly tasted mostly like coconut water with pink coloring -- I expected a little more sweetness or flavor. The pancakes, though, were very original and had a surprisingly great texture for being vegan and gluten free. On their own they were pretty neutral (I didn't really taste ube), but the açaí sorbet, fruit, and sauces made the dish really good overall. We also had the Grateful Bowl, which was very flavorful with a bit spicy kick, and the Bluana Flow smoothie, which was yummy but mostly tasted like peanut butter. Menu has tons of healthy options, smoothies, matcha drinks, wraps, bagels, and bowls, so I'd definitely come back to try other things next time. Feels like the kind of place where some items will be amazing depending on what you order.

2980 N Federal Hwy, Fort LauderdaleOMG some of the best Mexican I've had in Broward. The decor inside is so nice and the el muerte drink has some kick to it. I got the pineapple version. The molcajete is not to be missed. Like fajitas but 10x better. I loved the service and atmosphere. I read a sign that said they were moving.. and I hope closer to my house lol

Don't come for mixed drinks... its not that kind of place.
Delicious cracker crust pizza.
Quality meats on the sammies.
Bring a good laid back attitude and just sit a spell and enjoy yourself.

They were transparent about her background, answered all of our questions, and made the entire adoption process feel supportive and thoughtful. You can tell this organization truly cares about every animal that walks through their doors.
Stormie has brought so much love, laughter, and personality into our lives — and she now has a big sister, Hollie, who absolutely adores her. Watching them bond has been the greatest gift. We are forever grateful for the care Stormie received before becoming part of our family.

2901 SW 52nd St, Fort LauderdaleI super loved this place and my babies enjoyed it ❤️!!!This park has 2 sides. One for smaller-size babies and one for bigger-size doggos. Spacious playground area with obstacles for the babies to train or play.The grass is evenly cut and not so high (on the smaller size doggo side)It has a water fountain that fits both sizes.There is PLENTY of parking spaces.I was truly impressed.

The Astro turf is huge with dogs running around playing and jumping in the kiddie pool to cool off. They were too big today to play on the turf but the beer truck was open. My hubby tried the Outlaw beer and said it was mild but they had a few higher ipa brands too like funky buddha. My dog loved to watch the other dogs play.

Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center
2400 SW 42nd St, Fort LauderdaleI went to this shelter a few times in search of a rescue dog. At first, each dog I liked learned had already been adopted. Then I ran into a staff member there Julie which I recognized from Tiktok from all her videos she post about the dogs needing to be adopted. One of the last times I was there, she took the time to give us a meet and greet about a dog we found at the shelter. We fell in love with him. She went the extra mile to assure me the dog was not adopted yet and that day, we adopted our pup. There's a lot of animals in need of a new begining and to find their forever home with unconditional love just like our Atlas.
