“Absolutely one of the most enjoyable lodge stays i have had. Wonderful hosts and great bartenders. Hard to believe it's in the middle of the hustle and bustle that is Miami. If your a moose and would like a great stop in South Florida. This is worth it.”

“The Kriya Yoga Institute introduces the community to the Ancient Science of Kriya Yoga Meditation. To participate at the ashram you must attend an initiation first and learn the ancient kriya 1 meditation. I highly recommend learning the meditation and participating in events at the ashram. Kriya Yoga will change your life if you practice and are devoted. I learned the meditation in 2009 and have practiced it since and visited the ashram for many retreats. It is always a pleasure to attend, learn more and feel blessed to be part of this community.”

“I give it 5 stars for the service but today 11/26/2025. Was by far the worst I've had from the soup kitchen the salad, stuffing, and mash potatoes even the cranberry sauce was on point but the turkey it smelled like it was going bad I hope they don't serve that turkey on Friday. Because when I say it smelled and tasted horrible I couldn't eat who ever cooked that turkey shame on you. Do you feed you family the same way you cooked this turkey?”

“Today we took two tours with the Florida National Parks Association. We started with a scuba tour of Bisycane bay. Our captain and his assistant did a wonderful job and were very knowledgeable.
Our second tour was even better. Our guide, Seth, knew everything about everything. He knew every plant and animal and all the history. He did an outstanding job!”

“Love looking for treasures here! The ladies who work here are the best. Literally the queens of multitasking. Handling the register, inventory, dress room , and customer service at the same time. It's amazing they do it all with a smile on their face. Hugs to Maritza and her team”

“Farm Share doesn't open until 0800 so you will need to park in the right lane of the road. Very little traffic.
At 0800 a worker came out and took my paperwork. Write your name and number on the front of your bills so they can call you with a door when they are ready. If arriving later call the number on the sign to let them know you are here.
Take both lanes turning in! It's a bit small. If you have the space and are able to, use the spots across from the docks to back in.
Slide tandems and wait for someone to verify your seal before opening your doors and docking.
Once they are done unloading they will call you to come in and sign their paper and get your BOL.

Staff was friendly.”

“I believe it was 1999 when I was there. At that time there wasn't much of anything but fields and tree's near the shelter. It kinda felt as though I was out in the middle of nowhere. But now as I look at Google Maps, the area has grown a lot! It was a bit difficult to catch the bus in time to get to a Day Labor office to get work. People seemed friendly and I don't remember the shelter being trashy. I didn't stay very long, mainly because I joined the Army. I know this review doesn't really apply to the shelter these days, but I figured I write about it anyways.”
