Hotel Redland is located right in the heart of old downtown. It is the oldest building in the area, full of character and not fancy, but it is super comfortable, clean, and inviting. The rooms are spacious, recently updated, and nicer than most generic hotels, with comfortable beds. Guests have access to a lovely patio to relax. The location is unbeatable and central, close to the Everglades, Biscayne, and the Keys. It is within walking distance of several world-class multicultural and Latin restaurants with gluten-free and veggie/vegan options. The bar downstairs serves great martinis. The food is delicious, including divine ribeye and large appetizers, and the drinks are fabulous. The staff is friendly, awesome, and attentive. The in-house manager is great and very helpful. Be aware that there is live music played loudly until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The beds can be rough and the towels thin and small, but more are provided upon request. It is a quiet place recommended for adults, not for bringing kids. It is a historic hotel once owned by a famous figure.
This is the oldest building in Homestead, so don't expect the Hilton, but it has character and the7rooms are all renovated. They are nicer than most generic hotels I've stayed in. And the character cannot be matched. The in house manager was great at helping us.Rooms: Recently updated.Walkability: Several restaurants near... read full comment

We had a great experience at this hotel. The location was unbeatable— the most central to Biscayne and the Everglades I could find. Rooms were cool and had enough space, and the beds were comfortable. Great restaurants in walking distance and the bar downstairs had a great martini. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Quiet, friendly and clean. We had access to a lovely patio where we could relax and enjoy a drink with the lizards and birds. Friendly staff, close to the Everglades and the Keys.
