However, the person assisting me initially said it couldn’t be done and later refused to make the second sandwich due to a lack of mayonnaise.
This is where Tobías stepped in—not only with a solution, but with remarkable professionalism and kindness. Instead of allowing the situation to escalate into a negative experience, he took full ownership with a calm and courteous approach. He reassured me that my order could be fulfilled, seamlessly took over, and personally prepared my sandwiches with care. “I have to share my experience with this pharmacy. I called to fill a medication and Lamar was extremely polite and advised he would have it filled in 30 minutes. But the real super hero was the pharmacist Dr. Barva. I arrived 3 minutes past 6pm on a Sunday before Labor Day. She was closing the gates and already shut off the computer. I explained that I ran late due to the rain and was coming from Hialeah. She was more than kind and reopened the gate, turned on the computer and assisted me so my husband would have his blood pressure medication and not go without it during the holiday. That is more than customer service, that is a warm hearted pharmacist that cares about her patients! Dr. Barva thank you ? and publix thank you for hiring such a wonderful and caring pharmacist!”
“Service has seemingly improved a lot in the last 4-5 years at this location. The pharmacy area for a facelift and the store was nice and clean. I stopped in for some products, energy drinks and a seasonal immunization. The aisles were clean and organized and there was plenty of parking at lunch time. The outside of the store was also clean and the place was easy to find. The pharmacy staff was great. Personable, bilingual, knowledgeable and helpful. There was a very short wait and I was in and out no problem. The cashier up front was also nice and there's a ton of Halloween candy on sale. That might not SOUND important, but let's face it... it is.”
