We were visiting so it was last minute, yet he made time to check Benny, prescribe antibiotics and NSAIDS. We are grateful for his expertise and the fact that he could squeeze us in. 80499 Overseas Hwy, IslamoradaWe looked for a good place to have breakfast in Islamorada, and Gemini recommended the Midway Cafe & Coffee Bar, so we tried it out. Their very friendly staff pointed out their menu, which was quite comprehensive. You have to place your order and then take a seat, either inside or outside. We got there about 8.30am and proved to be a good time as there was hardly anyone else there. By 9am there was a long queue to place your order!! We sat inside, which is very pleasant with colourful decor. The food was great - 3 huge pancakes with syrup and bacon, and a great triple espresso. From searches I did, there don't appear to be too many places for breakfast until you get down to Marathon, but you can't go far wrong with Midway Cafe & Coffee Bar.

The views from the second floor, where it is situated, are spectacular. My friends and I sat outside. The food we ordered was all well prepared. The service was great. The pigeons that kept coming to try to pilfer a meal were not. However, other than that, this is a perfectly good option for a nice lunch.

I also tried the breakfast quesadilla and it was super good. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Highly recommend this place if you want a delicious breakfast

Also had a burger with blue cheese and bacon with the fries and that was awesome as well. Love the house made sauces and ketchup! Would definitely go again, really enjoyed the food!
