90451 Old Highway, TavernierHad my first experience at Lido 73 today. First off, the outside dining area is right on the canal where you can watch the fish and other wildlife while you eat which sure beats a TV in the corner. The second thing you'll notice is an expansive menu which truly has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a lite bite or a main dish (like myself) I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. The wine/beer list is equally as expansive and welcoming of all tastes.
Now down to business. I ordered the fillet medallions on and empty stomach and was blown away by the flavor and quality of the meat - cooked medium rare as I had requested. There is only one other restaurant that can match this quality and they are far more expensive without the accompanying sides. I was able to substitute mashed potatoes and asparagus which elevated the meal passed medley and fingerling potatos that come standard.

90775 Old Highway Unit 6, TavernierI always love coming to What the Fish! Alex is so passionate about what he does and is incredibly friendly, and Josh is just as welcoming. You can really tell how much they care about what they’re serving.
They have such a unique way of making our local seafood shine, and every item on the menu feels so thoughtfully put together. The seafood is always super fresh and absolutely delicious. Every time I come in, I leave impressed!

Coming here for years but you as the waitress/bartender (and i also blame the owners) have a full bar and several hightops and have an ATTITUDE and can't take our order even though we were there early.... SORRY but we are outta here and unlikely to return.... you could not take an order for over 45 minutes of us being here is a LITTLE MUCH! Shame on the management as we know Wednesday is a big day for the stone crabs! We will take our business elsewhere from now on...
